I finished watching DN Reacts watching Ted Lasso and the YouTube algorithm showed me your video. I love this show so much, it’s so rewatchable. So I decided to watch this lovely show again with you two. It’ll be interesting to get a different perspective. Last time, two British blokes, and now two American women. Enjoy the show! It’s so good!

Everyone needed this show. Perfect timing in 2020. Ted Lasso is a show of unabashed sincerity. Love it so much.
The 1-2 punch of this and Schitt's Creek (I know it didn't start in 2020 but it obviously reached the pinnacle of its popularity right around then) really did save a lot of sanity for people during 2020. And I'm not saying that trying to be hyperbolic; you get feel-good stuff, and I genuinely think those are two of the best feel-good shows ever made, at the same time during an incredibly stressful time? Man, it was SUCH fortuitous timing.
A lot of the relationship stuff between Ted and his wife are a commentary on Jason and his ex-wife Olivia Wilde! Its one of the more heart breaking parts if you know the details of their divorce.

Chad, glad you chose this! the show is very funny, features characters you want to root for and overall, is a heartwarming, highly-enjoyable series. Plus I think the girls needed a break from the horror of stranger things and the dark intensity of BB and Pky blinders

Got excited seeing all the notifications. Just to find out it’s that show that one show that everyone loves and I hate. I won’t be *too* annoying about this, but I’ll just say that I normally can get why people like a show may not understand it but at least I get it. I truly don’t get how this show is as beloved and popular as it is. Don’t think I ever will. That is all. Happy to read the replies about why I’m wrong
i think people en masse are overwhelmed by negative feelings about the state of the world and this show is a healing salve that makes them feel better rather than give them anxiety right before bed like succession does.
So no The Good Place after all, Chad? Or will they do it after Ted Lasso?
