Tomorrow and the Next day my power will probably be off all day...
The city is sending some guys to replace the power pole in my backyard. I'll be able to get exactly ZERO work done... I'm gonna try to sleep for two days to make up for my terrible sleeping habits and get through the process faster because this is going to suck...

Put a plastic cup of water in the fridge, let it freeze solid. Putin a coin on top of the ice and let it sit in the freezer during the outtage. If coin is still on top afterwards food is fine, if not then..
Im from Florida were losing power from storms is part of life. If you limit opening the fridge your food can last 2 days.
In my case, it’s a happy coincidence because I’m on a two-week vacation, so I’ll play it once I’m back—get some rest; it could be good for both you and the game.

To be honest, I was thinking about the stuff in the fridge during the two-day power outage. Then I remembered you're in America, where fresh food—or food that doesn't contain preservatives weighing half as much as the product itself—doesn't exist.
Go to a motel in another city, bring your computer, and do your work. I don't see a major obstacle. Just ask the sailors on the USS Orleans who sailed with half a ship.
