Harvesting Corruption v0.0.6: Friday Night Fever is HERE!

First up: The Thirst Trap has had a MAJOR makeover under the hood.

I spent a huge chunk of this update rebuilding, balancing, polishing, and fixing the waitress system. It should run smoother, second row of skills now available including FLASHING, interactions that were previously nearly impossible to trigger can actually be seen now, patrons behave more dynamically, intoxication matters more, clothing interactions have been reworked, Rene's appearances are less predictable, there are new events, a new cleaning scene, better progression, new Cocktail Waitress skills, and a brand-new End of Shift Tips Report.

Basically, working at the Thirst Trap should feel a hell of a lot more alive now. 🍸

And that's only one part of this update.

v0.0.6 also brings:

• 4 new locations including Richard's Bait Shop, the Water Tower, Government Center, and Church

• New scenes, events, animations, characters, and dialogue

• Flirt Frenzy, an entirely new Match-3 phone game

• A completely upgraded Journal system with animated New Journal Entry notifications

• HUD Time Skip

• Clothing changes directly from Annika's inventory

• New collectibles, including the 8th Porno Magazine

• New music and audio work throughout the game

• New corruption and progression balancing

• Tons of Day 4 and Day 6 fixes

• Navigation, quest, UI, save-safety, and progression fixes

• A pile of smaller polish changes across the entire game

And here's the part I'm particularly proud of:

I DID ALL OF THIS IN ONE WEEK.

In fact, this is my second major Harvesting Corruption update this week.

I know there are developers who can leave supporters waiting the better part of a year for a single update while those monthly pledges keep rolling in. That's not how I roll and most of you know it now.

You guys are financially supporting Harvesting Corruption. You're helping me buy animations, improve the game, expand what I'm able to create, and ultimately make this game a reality.

I respect that support, and I want the development pace to reflect it. But don't always expect week long update cycles. I basically didn't sleep this week.

There's a reason I was still sitting here till 8am trying to squeeze one more scene and animation into the build. 😂

Every release isn't just about pushing the story forward another day. I want to keep improving the game that's already here, fixing what isn't working, expanding systems, adding variety, and making HC feel more polished with every build.

And we're only on Day 6 of 60.
