Yes, Cameron did a great job on this 4k re-remaster, the 3D effects on the underwater wreckage scenes looked up to date, the iceberg collision scene looked more "pitch-black" color graded, even for the audience tough to spot the iceberg xd
Got my TITANIC 25th 3D 4K ticket for today, i was to young watch it at the big screen back in 1997 - with all the Titanic knowledge in my mind now (thanks to THG too) i gonna have a blast - once in a life time :)
Same here, I was 6 when it came out! I just saw it tonight. They did a very good job with the 4k scans and upscaling. Picked up on some details I never saw before. Got me so pumped. I am ready to nerd out with 2.0! Wish I had time to contribute to this project.
Looking great, love the stained glass in the smoking room, the ceiling in the reading and writing room is now in 3d too i notice. Is that the old style dining room ceiling or new fully 3d? Just came back from watching the 25 year anniverary Titanic movie, so about to boot up demo401 v1.4, wish it was 2.0 already!
Can't wait! Might take off work that day! Lol
The music ist still just so beautiful! Plus, include it into update 2.0 and even if it is just an option
