Keel to Stem
Kyle here. This is just a quick update to let you all know that I hate the keel to stem transition and I'm still not sure if the plating is totally correct here. That said, it looks good enough and so I can move on to the next strake (G). I look forward to leaving the plating behind for a while after the next few strakes to focus on elements a bit more exciting than flat pieces of steel!

Whatever extra effort you put into the plating, I will take the time to appreciate. This image sent me into my copy of The Ship Magnificent for 20 minutes, and I got to learn what a forefoot was. Many thanks.
Dang, look at you go! You seem to make great progress! Regarding the shape, you are right, it looks a bit wierd but it must be correct I think. Sadly in al the drydock pictures the transition is not clearly visible but looking at it from a manufacturere perspective it is fine.
Looks a bit similar to the James Cameron's Titanic scene where the stern starts to rise
