May 2022 Financial Update
Wanting to keep up with the transparency, here is the help we got from you guys and what we had to pay last month.
After platform fees and merch that'll be sent out soon, we got $7,549 of the $10,481 that was pledged for May on or around June 5th.
Patreon's cut totals $1,137 and payment fees (like billing costs) were $610.
The merch that you will get is usually $1,000 and this month it was $1,032!
YouTube ad revenue brought in $2,313 for the month of April on May 23rd.
Our expenses for the month of May were:
Lawyer fees to the ex-GmbH: $3,560
Six members of the core team: $3,387
Subscriptions (including an annual fee for Maya so it was higher this month): $632
Postage: $336
Ads for our store and site which we ended in May: $273
Misc. store refunds, COGS, purchases, and fees totaling: $1,252

Appreciate the info! Reddit has definitely been negative towards you guys lately. I’m sure you’re just as frustrated as we are though with the delays. That being said I’m excited for the latest update with demo 401. Despite not being the alpha, it’s still allowed us to explore the titanic like we never could before.
