Hospitals, Surgeons, & Disease on Titanic
Here's Monday's Titanic University video for my Paterons (totally not made due to the current news but still.)
If there are any glaring issues or concerns with it please let me know! I had some nice feedback on last week's video and made changes I was happy about :-)

In British English 'surgeon' was (and is) specific to ships in the catch-all meaning of 'doctor'. Otherwise, it means exactly the same as on the other side of the pond! In William O'Loughlin's case, as a graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons, he would have been qualified as an actual surgeon as well! The term 'surgery' is used as the act of medical anatomical procedures, but is also a common name for a medical centre where you can consult a general practitioner. Might be confusing to non-Brits, but that's English!
i know it's quite late now, but the part about an outbreak aboard titanic is quite short. maybe you can still add few explainations?
Oh I definitely spoke really fast a few times on purpose so I'm sorry about that!
I think it's just me not being a native english speaker but it was a bit hard for me to follow everything you said because you were talking a bit too quick. But great video over all :)
