Finally some news (Derek Update)
Hi everyone,
I know it's been forever since I've shared anything. To be quite frank, I've been dealing with a few things and It's been difficult to get to uploading anything on here. I'm not anything remotely close to a writer and typically having to write these posts feels like the hardest part of my job, so I'll keep it very brief, and I apologize for that.
Long story short, I've had a few health issues and scares. I'm okay, but it has affected my schedule the last few months. Work at my dayjob has piled up a bit and so everything has been hectic.
The above images are some progress pictures of P401 and for Mira, including some few sneak peeks of the night mode setting. My hope is to add a brightness calibration system into P401 so it can be calibrated to an approximate brightness level that matches my system, or in other words, to the intended level.
Hope you enjoy! I'll try and make my next update come a little sooner.

What about P401 proper for PC? Side projects need to be put to rest already
I would recommend using separate teams for side projects TBH. That way, the main team can concentrate on the subject at hand.
Wow! I am so excited that we have a revamped and better night mode to explore the ship...I am so excited to walk through the 3rd Class Corridors and Scotland road with such an ominous feel. Now, The smoking room will be seen in its full glory when all the gentleman relax as it gets dark. Maybe you should add an Morning/Noon/Evening mode to go along with it also!
I am sure there will be all of that, sheesh.
It’s beautiful work, but how many versions are there going to be before it becomes available on Steam? I’m just curious.

What is the room in the 13th image? Is it a new room for us to explore in P401?
Looking at the deck plans. The last picture is of the wheelhouse and the open doors. The left is the pilot room and to the right is the chart room. They have also fixed the door location error for the door leading to the corridor. In the current demo the entrance door layout matches Olympics from later in her career. I do remember during a live they did mention they wanted to redesign the space due to inaccuracy and it’s seems for project 401 that’s what they are doing.

I know its additional extra time to give us more updates on P401 development, but just a few images and short status report every 4-5 weeks of the announced features would be appreciated.
How about nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo? We let the developers do what they plan on doing.
wait a sec, is the one night time picture with the 3-4 open doors empty room the wheel house with access to the chart room + pilot room! that would be amazing - cant wait for new modells on the telegraphs lightin' up at night too :)

So are we getting new rooms on the officer level cause the dark room in the last looks to be from that area
officer cabine or captain smith quarters even not fully detailed or 100% (cause of missing refrence) would be amazing, just to walk through there to the bridge + i hope for the steering engine room added to P401 finale release xd
