Concept Artwork: Marie
Across the crossroads, you may come upon a near-drowned youth, who begs you to look for a trace of his fiancée, Marie, who he lost while escaping. All you'll find is a ring, and a towering pigboss patroling the area, giving some clue to her fate, but nothing more.
However... Take the road less traveled, and you will come upon the girl herself, Marie, taken away to the Occult warcamp in Rivermont, thrown in with the rest of the prisoners and awaiting her fate, where she meets with none other than Claire's own mother...
But Marie's romance is not to be. Take the Hookton approach, and her fiancée can be rescued, but not her. Take the Rivermont approach in the Prologue, and you may be able to save her, but not the fiancée. Or leave both to wallow, for their destiny is to perish, and only through Claire's strenuous intervention will either one get a slim hope for survival. For this is a dark world, and sometimes, there are no truly happy endings.

What a sad fate this girl has. Still, I want to wish her well, she deserves it. The artwork looks super!
Claire's Quest meets the Kobayashi Maru. Sadly Claire is not as smart as one J T Kirk.
There's no reprogramming this simulation.
Is the Rivermont prologue addition supposed to drop with the next update or is it in the distant-ish future?
Next update is a patch, Rivermont comes with next major update that's after it!
no, no, no - save the bride to be, have some hot Marie - Claire action after the Pig-boss decides that 'gender fluid' is ok if you're the boss (off-screen though - at least as an option) ... with the (former) groom!
I like this now! Save either the groom to be, or save the bride to be? But will we see an additional scene of what "really" happened to Marie if we chose to save the groom? Maybe some Pigboss action?
You posted too fast, observe the follow up patron-locked post :P
