Rumble vs Ranger: GRAND FINALS
Rumble Fighter info here
Actiranger Info here
Given that this whole thing has been a riff on Marvel vs Capcom, it felt only appropriate to finish it with a proper 2v2 TAG TEAM BATTLE!
The real reason for the previous two polls was to help select the fighters for the finale. Now, while Pop Cap did narrowly outrank Madison in the losers bracket, I've decided to put my thumb on the scale just this once, since the potential of this matchup felt so juicy. I promise I'll draw something to make it up to the Mime Enjoyers in the future.
At any rate Let's talk about the fighters!
Beck & Madison
A runaway living weapon and a stifled heiress with violent tendencies, this odd pair have been rivals since childhood. Beck and Madison exchange blows about as often as they kiss with tongue. (Which is quite often). Beck's rough and straightforward fighting style contrasts with Madison's tendency to fight dirty, and exploit weaknesses. Both of them revel in close quarters combat, egging each other on to greater heights. While they're not always on the same wavelength, their competitive nature means that the more skill and power one of them might demonstrate, the more eager the other becomes to match that intensity, and they're definitely no stranger to teamwork when the stars align.
Pink & Yellow
ActiRangers 4 and 5 are often paired together on missions, much to Pink's chagrin. Yellow's bubbly and easygoing personality stands in contrast to Pink's aloof cynicism. On the battlefield they tend to operate at very different ranges, Pink fighting from a distance while Yellow takes things into close quarters, covering each other's weaknesses admirably. Yellow is always eager to get Pink to open up, with mixed success. Despite their differences, they make a truly stunning pair. Pink often rolls her eyes at Yellow, but strangely she always goes along with her shenanigans. (sometimes to her own embarrassment).

We know that both Maddy and Yellow are practically insatiable. I feel like pink would be either knocked out for real for being the only one who'd actually take the fighting part serious. :D OR Pink gets teamed up on for having the only dick in the match. Either way, I see Yellow getting stuck in a 2v1, and just BARELY clutching it becasue she keeps plying Maddy and Beck against each other a few times. :D
Justice for Popcap! I'm upset, but I'm still going to watch the finale! Beck vs Pink, Beck w low diff tops, tires, and makes her tap out. Justice for Popcap!
Pink turns the tables on Beck. And Yellow on blonde. Tournament event of the century. I cannot wait!
pink gets her revenge on beck!
Let's go ActiRangers!! We've seen Gray top Madison, but now let's see Pink do it!
It’s okay, as a mime enjoyer I’m sure we can forgive you. It does sound a lot more iconic to have the most deadly duo from each series clash~! Would still love to see pop cap again in the future though.
While it'd be a battle fought tooth and nail, I think Ranger beating Rumble here makes sense. Yellow and Pink are constantly paired together for missions, they're *used* to covering each other's weaknesses. And while Beck is an absolute powerhouse, Yellow has endurance that could give even her a run for her money(which is kinda horrifying when you think about it). Plus another factor, Pink has known Madison since childhood and *just* fought Beck, she's already got an idea of how they both fight. And while the same could go for Beck and Madison knowing Pink's moves, Yellow remains a wild card to them. So long as Yellow can keep them occupied while Pink hits them from afar, I think they could pull it off. Of course this isn't to downplay Beck and Madison, those two are incredible fighters and I think they have just as much of a chance at winning(not to mention Rangers winning would heavily rely on Yellow being able to keep them at bay which isn't a given), but all of that plus Beck and Madison's rivalry does make me think Yellow and Pink have a slight edge.
This was a tough one to choose but I had to go pink and yellow as pink is my overall fav character
Madison is too much of a bottom not to throw
Oh gosh throwing to spite beck x.x
Ooooof. Why you gotta make me chooooose!?
I want Pink & Yellow to win! By this I mean, of course, that I want them to lose...
I have to go for the girl who said Poggers, I'm afraid
Alright, I'm probably voting against the current here, but I think Beck and Madison would be the winners. Pink already lost to Beck, and both of them are going to remember how Pink lost. Yellow is already hypersexual and used to teasing Pink, and probably would be on the same wavelength as Beck and Madison. In actual combat, I don't think Yellow would be able to hold back both Madison and Beck to give Pink the range and time she needs to line up a shot.
I approve. Don't feel 100% beholden to poll results if you have a better idea, trust your instincts.
We've got Madison and Pink together, this is not a drill! As much as I kind of want to see Rumble topping Rangers on this one, I think the speed and distance combo would be able to keep two close range fighters on the back-foot. A lot of interesting match ups with these four, regardless 😁
This isn't the last you've heard from us Popcap fans. I mean,
It makes sense that these 4 would make it to the end, really could see it going either way!
Oof. Having to choose between these pairs is hard. I like Pink a little more than Madison, but that is very even. If it was Beck vs. Yellow, I simply couldn't choose, both are characters I love, but for different reasons. Well done Spicy for setting up characters I care this much about.
Plot twist the only loser is pink because yellow convinces the group to fuck her into the floor
Everyone who voted in such a way that this was the final, you are cruel for making me choose. My vote is going for Pink and Yellow, but I can't be mad either way.
I think that if Pink and Yellow can keep Beck and Madison back with their ranged attacks they have a good chance of winning, but if Beck and Madison can get in close they have a good chance of winning too
Wonder if Green bet on the final match with Helen for "revenge" :)
As much as I love Beck and Madison, I gotta go for the Actirangers.
Clearly what happened was that Madison was a sub in after PopCap had to bow out last minute. We should definitely find out what left PopCap unable to walk/participate
I like the way you think!
Are we voting for who wins or for who gets railed? .... is there a difference?
pretty sure winners get top..
poor popcap
Definitely going to have to think this one through a lot since it really is just choosing between my two favorite Spicymancer pairings. (Also, accidentally hit delete on my previous comment instead of edit, RIP.)
Aaaaarghhh avoiding this kind of impossible choice is one of the reasons I voted for PopCap
Obviously Beck and Madison. RAD > Actirangers
Beatdown vs zoners. That's rough. Beck and Madison have teamwork but I think the synergy between Pink and Yellow is stronger. This match is gonna come down to schmoovement. If Madison can play footsies then Beck can take it the rest of the way, but if they get locked down by Pink's zoning they're done for.
Fuck yeah Actirangers
It'd be hot for Pink and Yellow to win, but equally importantly, it'd be REALLY hot for Beck and Madison to lose :3
Ok, now THAT'S good reasoning...
Battle of the GFs!! Absolutely worth putting your thumb on the scale for this match-up XD Whichever pair wins, this climax is gonna be LEGENDARY
WHERE'S MY SOPHIE?????????????
Eating leftover fried chicken apparently
I love all the links!! Fantastic post. Tight race too
I am paralyzed with indecision and thoughts of what might happen either way
The two iconic duos
A battle for the ages! 😭🔥❤️
With Yellows Stamina, I can see the rangers taking it. Or in Pinks case, giving it.
... YOU! Keep talking.
No matter which team loses, we're all winners here
Looking forward to premium mime content soon 🙏🙏🙏
