Water Ripples Tech Demo
This is the feature I am currently working on. It will hopefully make water in caves and rivers more interesting. Not only the player will cause those ripples but all other entities (and hopefully physics objects too)! This will go very well with the ocean physics!

or with out mist
and maybe water fall physics. that has that mist like effect
add water splashed, so went you jump in water the water spashes and went you drop items in the water too.

Well splashes based on size and velocity might be implemented
wait, so if a ravager from 100 blocks above drops, will there be a big splash?
If you want to make it as realistic as possible you can take inspiration from fortnite with effect on maximum. It is very realistic. Well at least I think it looks absolutely amazing.
gotta say, all the other feautures are fine and dandy, but my favourite feature by far and the one that made me want to never take this mod off, was the ocean physics. gotta love me some immersive water. so this is really exciting to see.
