July Art Card + Updates

3 more months until October and I'm starting to sweat (from the heat and deadline).

For this month's art cards, I experimented with some different styles. I saw Spider-Man Across the Spiderverse and I was enamoured with Polka-Dot Man. He was such an unexpected character that I had loved since the old 90s cartoon. I wanted to capture some of the chaotic, and ominous nature of his character in this piece.

For the painting alteration, I chose A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte by Georges Seurat. Making changes on this piece was exceedingly difficult, I had a really hard time replicating the stippling nature of the painting, but hopefully the changes aren't immediately noticeable. I love the idea that the longer you look at a piece of art, the more you discover, so for this piece I hid a lot of details.

I made a larger print available here in case anyone really wanted to hang this painting in their home: https://www.inprnt.com/gallery/aideesea/the-last-sunday/

Some of the art cards from last month had some printing issues, so some of you may not get your art cards until later this month (sorry about that). I'll personally message those who are affected, but feel free to contact me as well if there are any issues!

That's all the updates I have for now, thank you all so much for your support and I look forward to making more comics this month for you guys!
