ANNOUNCEMENT: APPLE PAY UPDATE AND PATREON CHANGES

CHANGES WILL BE IMPLEMENTED IN NOVEMBER
Due to Apple's enforcement of their policies, Patreon will now have to change in accordance. These changes will affect everyone, some to a greater degree than others.

IF YOU ARE AN APPLE/IOS USER:

Apple is demanding a 30% cut, on top of patreon's cut of 8%, it's astronomical. Patreon has offered two solutions, either they automatically charge Apple users an extra 30%, or I personally eat the cost and keep the price the same.

I would love to say I can afford to eat the cost, but the prices for most of the tiers cover the printing and mailing of the art cards.

HOWEVER if you're an apple user, you can simply just continue your subscription through the PATREON WEBSITE OR THE ANDROID APP instead of the apple app. This makes it so you don't pay a 30% markup.

EVERYONE ELSE:

FOR EXISTING MEMBERS YOU WONT NEED TO BE CONCERNED WITH THIS (as much):

This policy change will means you will not be billed the first of the month, but the day of the month that you joined. This only applies to new patrons who sign up in November (or returning patrons).

Ex: you joined Nov 7th, you'll be billed Dec 7th, and so on.

The main reason why I did the first of the month was to make it easier to track who gets an art card. Some of you are monthly, some every three months.

I'm going to have to change my organizational system in order to accommodate these changes. Please forgive me if I forget to send you an art card. I highly encourage you to message me if any of your cards are not coming in.

If you have any questions regarding these changes. Feel free to contact me via any platform.
