New economy page and volume scanning
Hey everyone!
I quietly dropped this in Discord already, but it deserves a proper post — a whole new Economy section just went live on Tarkov Market, and under the hood it's the biggest upgrade to TM's data since the site launched.
📊 Market economy — tarkov-market.com/economy
A bird's-eye view of the flea market: how much money it actually turns over per hour and per day, what the average sale looks like, and where the money goes.
Right now on the market — a live anomaly feed. When demand for meds spikes ten minutes after a patch, you'll see it here before the prices move.
Top items by money and by units — "where the money is" and "what actually trades" are two very different lists.
Gainers & losers with a "real sales only" filter — a plain gainers list is easy to fake with a couple of offers; this one only counts items the scanner sees actually being sold.
How fast it sells — current offers vs. sale speed, so you know whether your money will be stuck in a listing for days.
Hourly market rhythm — when the flea is crowded and when it sleeps, in your local time.
🏠 Hideout index — tarkov-market.com/economy/hideout
The hideout is the single most expensive thing you build in the game, and its price floats with the market. This page tracks the full build-from-scratch cost at the cheapest source (trader or flea), with history going months back — so you can time expensive modules for when materials dip. Plus: what moved the index today (ranked in roubles, not misleading percentages), the priciest modules, and the full shopping list. All editions supported, from Standard to The Unheard.
💵 Dollars & euros — tarkov-market.com/economy/currency
"How much is a dollar" gets asked in every Discord — now there's a page for it. The flea rate of $ and € two ways: the bill's price as an item, and the rate that real paired offers actually imply (the gap is the resellers' margin). Also: which items have the deepest $/€ order books, and a live screener of lots that are cheaper to buy with currency than with roubles.
💣 And the real bomb: volume scanning
Everything above is powered by a new scanner capability — TM scanners now capture sales volume and sell offers, not just prices. You'll see it directly on item price charts too: volume and offer count right under the price line. Scan intervals are now dynamic as well — hot items get re-scanned up to every minute. The volume scanner already covers 3757 of 3771 tradable items, and of course everything works for both PVP and PVE.
Running this kind of infrastructure around the clock is exactly what your support pays for — none of this would exist without you.
Thank you! ❤️ You are my best heroes!
More metrics are coming to the Economy section — if there's a stat about the flea you've always wanted to see, tell me in Discord.
