The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 3 (UNEDITED REACTION!)

I was really looking forward to this episode and your reaction, Tom^^ And interestingly, I get the feeling that you’re going through the same emotional conflict as many others who watched this episode for the first time. You love Daryl and know he’s not really to blame for Glenn’s death, but Episode 7x1 managed to make you feel exactly that connection, and so the conflict...whether you want to or not.... Because if Daryl hadn’t… then Glenn wouldn’t … that’s right… but it could have been anyone else—it was purely arbitrary of Negan to choose Glenn… and the intention was to be able to blame Daryl for it....anyways
we’re on easy street 🕺 and it feels so sweet 🕺
EASYYYYYYY STREEET
In real life I've lost so many people it's hard to feel my grief. That's why I love shows like these it helps me build bonds and feel something when I lose them.
Yeah I agree with the difference between Rick and Negan group! Those who say they understand Negan I cannot get around it. Yes Rick killed a lot of his people, but Negan and his people were all evil people!
Just FYI Negan is BIG on the NO RAPE rule within the savior camp… although I’m sure it still happens , they better HOPE that Negan doesn’t find out about it lol
Daryl is so stubborn, Negan clearly likes him a lot or he would definitely be dead rn 💀 (Town Called Malice is such a banger 💃 )
Dwight didn't put the guy on the fence because he wants to look at him. You're giving him too much credit. Dwight was told to go get the guy back, likely alive. But Dwight killed him as a kindness, so he could bring him back and not let the guy suffer. Negan wants them on the fence to work for him in death if they won't work for him in life. Dwight wasn't happy to see the guy on the fence. But it is what it is.
You say they rape, but we haven't actually seen that. You'll learn more about him (Negan), his people, and his rules and morals. I don't want to say too much before you get to know him. But he is very much against rape. But he has some rough people in charge below him. I think some of them act the way they do because they think that's what he would want. It's interesting and a bit scary to observe.
It might be crazy but I think Negan would have to kill me
It is kind of crazy that the thing that gets Daryl is them emotionally starving him, making it so he could only hear this song with no meaning, and then they introduce the photo to get this emotional breakdown. They are like starving his ears and forcing him to listen to this emotional music
It’s equivalent to water torture. Sleep deprivation. Then on top of that moldy nasty food or dog food. That’s why he vomited in his cell.
Thanks as always
Unc almost dropping the f bomb is top 5 moments in this series
Cracked me up, how he looked to see if we heard it
I actually made the easy street song my alarm sound on my phone many years ago. I swear no other song will make you get up and reach for your phone quicker 😂
We're on easy street 😁
I’ll never listen to that song without severe trauma from this point forward 😳😩😢
Yeah the numbness to it all do set in. For better or worse I guess. But I still felt it when Daryl started crying. I always do. He’s strong but you’ve seen he’s also very sensitive and you know he tries to keep it all inside so whenever he can’t I really feel it. He’s feeling so guilty over Glenn. I think Dwight do admire Daryl in a way. I think parts of him wishes he could have escaped when he had the chance and regrets not being strong enough to go through with it. But I also think he’s using his stuff as a way to torment him too cause that is his job and what he must do. Yes, he is now a slave to Negan. It is his only way to keep his wife safe.
Ah welcome to the bottle neck episodes era of the walking dead. I would say this is in top reasons why a lot of people stopped watching. At one point viewership competed with American football. We would have watch parties with my friends and rotate who was hosting, I can't say I did that for another show. It can be frustrating wondering what the other characters are doing but eventually it starts to pick up again later in the show.
I don't mind the way these episodes are. Maybe Tom may get used to them, and not mind them, because he also gets frustrated when they switch to different people and plots in the normal episodes.
WERE ON EASY STREET
Guess I'll never listen to Roy Orbinson again without this playing in my head now.
😢
unfortunately, Easy Street is an ABSOLUTE banger 🤘🏻🙂↕️
Yeah, but it took 2 weeks for that damned song to stop playing in my noggin.
As much as The Saviors are despicable this episode gave more of a glimpse into the inner workings. Negan specializes in reading people then using psychological torture. We all know too well he can physically hurt and kill. I have faith that Daryl can endure anything thrown his way. Even so, it hurts me to see him cry because he is equally as strong as he is sensitive.
Daryl always a real one

Rape is actually against NEgans rules.
I would think so, he specifically said "you can have any woman you want as long as she says yes" (so, consensual)
Dwight HAD to bring that guy back, one way or the other. It was a mercy killing, he didn't kill him because he liked it. I think Dwight is wearing Daryl's vest and using his bow because he admires Daryl. You are right about how Negan has to rule this place. He is in charge of some very cruel and reckless people but Negan has 'rules'... the fear he puts in everyone helps to make sure they follow those rules.
I was always under the impression that Dwight was using Daryl's equipment as another torture tactic - I got your stuff, what are you gonna do about it? I don't think Dwight admires Daryl, maybe he's trying to understand him but admire? (shrug) What makes all this very annoying is that if Daryl and Negan fought just one on one, I'd bet Daryl would win.
I love Daryl, he's a genuine badass ❤️
