*NEW SHOW AFTER SQUID GAME SUGGESTIONS* PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS
Squid game is now officially over. That means it is time to vote for a new show! This show being voted on will be another "short" show. The criteria for this is any show with episodes 1 hour long (MAX of 40 episodes/40 total hours) or any show with half hour episodes (MAX of 80 episodes/40 total hours).
If a show has episodes in between a half hour and a hour, make sure that the total show length is 40 hours or less. Any show recommended in the comments that exceed the 40 hour limit will not be counted.
Please list the amount of episodes/hours in the show you comment if possible!
If you have any questions about this please leave them in the comments! The goal for this system is to have more shows and more voting more often!
Remember if you like a show that someone else has already commented, please like their comment. Do not comment it again because it won't count.
Leave your show suggestions in the comments below! The first poll will start this Thursday!
Can't wait to see what the next show is!

Black Mirror
Yes disappointed I didn’t think of this one I thought it would be longer in total hours but it’s under 40 - amazing I don’t know if he would love the first episode though turns a lot of people off
Old peoples home for 4 year olds Uplifting show about how 4 year old children bonding with those people in a nursing home improved their health - reality tv like love on the spectrum it is so good you cry for joy
British and Australia versions exist it does says it’s available on various streaming platforms in America
Them season 1 it's perfect for Halloween it's got psychological torture, horror, and paranormal 10 episodes 50 minutes each It focuses on something big that I wont spoil. It's got a season 2 that's a decent watch for mystery not much horror
Love on the Spectrum - Netflix reaity show with people on the Autism Spectrum navigating dating & marriage. The average episode length is approximately 46 minutes. The show consists of 27 episodes across 4 seasons, totaling about 20.6 hours of continuous viewing time.
There are also different version of this as well not sure if it’s available everywhere but I think the American version which tbh I love is based on the Aussie version which has 2 seasons
Now for Aussie one which I have no idea where you would watch it over there but it would be interesting to watch someone dissecting Australian humour and Australian bogan life - Kath and Kim ( there is a American version of season one which didn’t take I think obviously on Australian like that’s version even though it has Selma Blair in it)
Sticking with British Shows - MISFITS again people with superpowers that shouldn’t have superpowers…. Also those game of thrones fans that have watched this a particular actor plays such a contrasting character shows his acting skills when you compare it to his character in game of thrones
Falling Skies..about 36.5 hours total
Anime - Clannad 17.5 hours must watch
Anime - Future Diary (Mirrai Nikki) 10 hours must watch so weird but good
Oh wow! Yes! It's crazy! ❤️❤️❤️
Peaky blinders
SKINS UK version meant to be a separate comment instead of in same thread
Band of Brothers!!! The total running time of Band of Brothers is approximately 11 hours and 45 minutes (about 705 minutes total) across its 10 episodes.
Narcos!!• Seasons: 3 • Total Episodes: 30 episodes (10 episodes per season) • Episode Length: 43 to 60 minutes • Total Binge Time: ~26 hours
Spinning Out on Netflix (well it’s on Netflix) here in Australia one season as got cancelled but deals with mental health in so annoyed it got cancelled
Pretty sure the main character has bipolar which would be interesting to listen to
I know you will appreciate 'Afterlife' so much, the humour is brilliant, the story line is heartbreaking and it's written by Ricky Gervais (UK show btw) and he also stars in it as the main character. 3 seasons long, 6 episodes in each and each episode is like 40 mins long
Legend of Korra
Charmed
Helluva Boss, 20 episodes, 7 hours

D A R K
Ozark is slightly over the requirement but it’s so worth it!!
Sherlock could be a good one but the episodes are 90 min. each but there are only 13 so total runtime would only be around 19.5 hours
I do love Sherlock. 🩵
You seriously need to check out the original Netflix Daredevil series because the psychological cat and mouse game is pure gold and tackles all the emotional buttons It explores trauma, guilt, and the blurred lines between hero and villain in a way most superhero stuff doesn't touch. The whole original run is 3 seasons and 39 episodes, sitting right around 39 hours total, so it's a perfect next show to watch and fits this exact criteria. It’s almost like it was made for it
Would love this but it's a superhero show.
Bojack Horseman please!
I second this
Adolescence (only 4 eps) incredibly impactful
