Yep. Negan is almost here. S7E1 it's really hard to watch. I really really hope you will not stop watching TWD because of that episode :( I love watching your reactions and I like listening to your talks, your thinking and about everything. I am really enjoying watching you. It will be hard S7E1 no doubt :( But I believe you will go through this. I believe you can do it! I really hope you will watch TWD till the end. It's worth it...I know it can be very very sad, shocking and heartbreaking scenes. But for me TWD is one of the best series of all time. Have a nice day....you got this Tom!
This! What Nejc said! Tom, don't feel bad or scared to talk about how you feel when watching this show. Don't be scared if you need a break. We have all been through this at different stages (some more than once), and we are here to support you. We all (well, most of us) knew what would happen going into this show. There is no judgement, and the show invokes some of these feelings on purpose. When you start feel those feelings, the story is doing its job. But that doesn't mean you have to feel those feelings alone or be scared to share those feelings or feel bad about having feelings just because it's a show. This show invites discussion on many sides and many opinions. I've watched this show and have read the comics more than once, I've lost count between TWD and Attack on Titan lol how many times, and when I recommend this show, I'm ready to be all ears when people need to talk or vent or just cry. We are here because we want to be with you while going on these reaction journeys. You aren't going to be going through these feelings alone. I know since you do therapy, you probably already know lol, but do not be afraid to get in some self care. Just because it's a show doesn't mean the impact it has on you and the feelings you feel are silly or are meaningless. Don't be afraid to sit in your feelings for a moment here and there. Those feelings are still real feelings. I hope you watch the show all the way through, and maybe one day watch one of the spin-offs (especially Fear The Walking Dead). But until then, we are still here in these moments with you. 🙂🫂
I know its been mentioned, but I hate Tom missed the grave scene in the beginning of the episode. I would have loved to see that reaction, but it might have ruined the intro song vibe..

Fun fact: in the lineup of 3 heads. the one in the middle is Greg Nicotero (the executive producer) and the one on the right is Johnny Depp. They didnt have time to sculpt different heads for the show so they used already made heads modeled after these two
In case you missed it, the guy that came out at the end was riding Daryl's motorcycle, which was stolen by that couple in the woods, Dwight and Sherry. I wonder how he got it.....
This episode is why Im on Negans side. What they did here was disgusting and cowardly, going after 30-40 people in their sleep? I hate this.
For some reason my first watch through I was completely on team Rick and didn't process the atrocities being done. I rewatched it a few years ago and was like "damn, they (Rick's group) kind of deserve what happened to them."
Carol was writing in her notebook a kill count of how many living people she had put down. In order it goes as follows R: Was Ryan, which was Lizzie and Mika's father when he got bit. K&D was Karen and David from back at the prison when they were sick. L is for Lizzie She got 3 people in Terminus/Courtyard (lets be honesty the definitely took down more than 3 there) Candle woman (4) is the 4th person she gets there, which was Gareth's mother at terminus. No idea what the 4 because there was only the 1 person in the candle room not 4. and the 7 WS is for the 7 wolves she got in Alexandria. Adding up to 18 total lives she's taken according to her own count.
I think she was saying (4) as in a total of 4 in the whole Terminus assault, so the 3 in the Terminus/Courtyard with candle woman making it 4 in total overall. I also am surprised the total there is only 3. Maybe she only put down confirmed kills?
Awe, you were so distracted with the theme song you didn't notice that Carol left that last cooking on Sam's grave. Even though Abraham wasn't nice about leaving... not that there is a nice way to do that.... he really was honest with her.... she pushed for an answer and even though he could have sugar coated it... he was just flat out honest.
It’s like you can never turn your attention away from what’s going on onscreen. You’re bound to miss something. It happens a lot in reactions. I see it often. Whether the person is putting their hands over their eyes or simply looking away for a second or two. Then there are reactions that someone will miss something important being said because they will speak over the person onscreen.

Carol left that last cookie by Sam’s grave when Morgan came to speak to her at the beginning of the episode. And that Saviour who was driving a Bike was driving Daryl’s bike that was taken from him in the burnt forest.
Back at the church when it panned to Tara looking uneasy, it was because Rick said “We kill them All.” Which was the final order that the governor gave out during the Prison’s fall.
