As bad as it was to go into a public space, I think it was very admirable that Hannah chose to do that - ngl I was thinking a smarter idea would've been to pop him out onto the beach, tell him what story to say, run back inside and call an ambulance from her hiding spot 😭🤣🫣

The writing is all over the damn ass place this season. Nothing makes sense. Dexter has gotten messy and reckless and way too comfortable for my taste. Feels like a different show. I guess it makes sense he cares for Vogel. Shes the only maternal figure he's had that accepts him fully. But he was more emotional with her death than Brian's. I absolutely hate the way this series ends The finale had me crying and swearing and just fed up.

I am an expert in my field. I know everything there is to know about serial killers. I know they lack empathy and emotion. I'll trust this one because he's my son. He wouldn't try to manipulate me. Oh, hang on... What a good expert.

This is what happens when the end of a show is rushed, doesn't make a lot of sense. From what I've heard, Game of Thrones ending was even worse.

Dexter's connection to Evelyn Vogel is he sees Evelyn as a second/third mother, she helped create him and his code with his father, and he hasn't had a motherly figure growing up as his mother and step mother died very early in his childhood. It's a little bit forced by the writers, but that's what they are trying to convey even though he hasn't shown feelings like these in the past.

I cannot wait for Dexter : New Blood !!!!!
