Fallout Season 1 Episode 1 (MYSTERY WEEK 2026 #1)

I love this show, I tried playing the game but it was too difficult for me lol, but its so funny to me to see Tom like the music in this show

This is one of those shows you watch one time and youre hooked. You might even want to play the game after watching it.

We got Bubba Gump digging up a ghoul 🤪

Keep watching this please

Also just so you’re aware, fallout is one of my autism hyperfixations hahaha. I’ve seen this show probably 10 times 😂. I’m pretty obsessed tbh

Tom this show is freaking awesome! Hope you get around to more episodes!

No. Freaking. Way. I have no idea if you’ll like this show or not, I’m heavily biased as a fan since like 2008 and it was my teenager years lol. You definitely will miss a lot of you’ve never played the games and a lot of the humor might be missed? Season one is good with a good ending and season two is a bit more “mature” feeling but not like grown up, more of a “ok this footing feels better”. I think you should definitely stick with it, it’s only 2 seasons so far

Mystery week has been amazing! Love all three so far- but for me this one’s a must watch, and only two seasons so far.

Would love to see the full series reaction

Cool. This was fun, getting to watch an episode of a random show. Good idea for a week's event, Tom!

bombs fall in 2077 you can see it in 11:20 too its a retro futuristic universe

Not much to add that hasn’t already been said when it comes to supporting the continuation of this brilliant recreation of a favorite game franchise 😊. Sincerely, your 69 yr old Quake and Fallout aficionado 😇🤣.

YESSS omg can’t wait! Definitely need to watch the full show! 🙌

(since it's not 100% certain you will continue this show) at around 53:55 you ask about the cowboy and the little girl and what the 'thumbs up' is all about, that does eventually get answered in the next few episodes! wWatching you figure out the mysteries behind this first season would be a blast Tom, hopefully you continue watching this show! (only 15 episodes in total after this first one and you are completely caught up!!)

YOOOOOO!!!!!! I wasn’t expecting this one but I was so hype the second you made the reveal!

watch more plz

Ghouls are immortal, only physical deaths can kill them not age

@1:13:00 you ask what time period they are in: If the scene has the power armored characters (the brotherhood of steel), the Ghoul, or lucy, it is the present day. The only time it is not the present day, is if the Walton Coggins' character is on screen, and he is not a ghoul. The Ghoul, Maximus, and Lucy are the defacto main characters for this story. A ghoul is an individual who was touched by gamma radiation/nuclear fallout at a slow enough pace to almost kill them, but for whatever reason, mutates the individual into a Ghoul. Ghouls are immortal, not indestructible, but immortal. They are not zombies, but they are undead. They are capable of living indefinitely so long as their body is ingesting some form of radiation. Even able to survive through dehydration, and starvation, but not bodily harm. Most bodily damage can be regenerated by a ghoul if exposed to radiation, but they are not immune to physical damage. That being said, if The Ghoul, Lucy, or Maximus are on screen, it is the present day of 2296. If you see Walton Coggins (the Cowboy) on screen, it is the year 2070-77.

big fallout game fan!!!

I will never spoil anything for this show, but i consider myself a lore keeper in fallout. This following info is explained at the beginning of every fallout game, so i do not consider it spoiler in anyway. If you continue to watch the series i will be happy to answer any question tom. But if you want to be completely blind, even though the next info isnt a spoiler, just move on. ---- ---- ---- But the intro of this episode (the birthday scene) takes place on October 23, 2077. In the world of fallout, the Transistor was never invented. As a result, society remained on vaccuum tube and nuclear energy. That is why everything looks futuristic, but in the 40's - 60's.

Has Tom reacted to White Lotus?

lmao I think we got Tom hooked. "That's it? Hang on, that's it? Are we gonna see more?" I wouldn't be disappointed if you decided to watch this series after you finish Mystery Week :P I love that you caught on pretty quickly that something was up with Vault 32. I missed that myself the first time I watched because I was busy soaking in the TV show because it feels so much like an actual Vault from one of the many games, the set designers did a fantastic job. They even got 3d model information from the game developers to help with the creation of the set and it's props. Also The Ghoul's musical theme slaps so damn hard, the timing of the riff as he finishes his quote gets me hyped every time haha.

You didn't recognize the ghoul?

I think a lore reaction may be in order lol might be fun for a stream or something

I really hope we get this series eventually, super entertaining

Jinx from arcane is the same actor as Lucy

The esthetic of the show and games is kind of what people in the 50s thought the future would look like.

She does look like Winnie from The Wonder Years!

tom you know lucy is the voice of jinx from arcane

Yeah I don’t think this was my cup of tea but I love mystery week for allowing us to check so many shows out!

Not hit play yet but hoping squid game s2

I tried….. but I don’t think it was for me….my mind was going blank watching it….I lasted maybe half and just couldn’t get into it.

I'm open to you watching the rest of this. I have tried to play the games numerous times and just didn't keep my interest.

My personal opinion on him jumping on the horse would be preemptive thinking on his part; The roads are going to be cluttered with panicked people, his horse can offroad wherever he wants it to go AND.. it's his horse, his pet and buddy and he wants to save it just as much as he does himself and his daughter.

I enjoyed this show too! I've only played Fallout 1 & 2 a long time ago so it'll be nice to watch this show!

This is definitely interesting, lots of moving parts - bet it would all make more sense a few more episodes in! I think The Ghoul is the cowboy from the opening scene! They said the same thing about cowpokes!

You could watch this whole series, then you could play the game!

I hope Shrinking is on the mystery wagon somewhere lol.

Yessss no wayyyy I wanted this show to win the voting

Fallout always had that future retro vintage vibe I love that aesthetic

OMG TOM!!!! I LOVE THIS SHOW and THE VIDEO GAMES!!! The “universe” of this show is SUPER lore heavy, meaning there is A LOt of extra information that comes from the video games! A little background info while yes this might look like America and we will be in places like California, the world you are watching is taking place in an alternate timeline! NO SPOILERS!!! just background info, Fallout is a retro-futuristic world, meaning the people may look like a postcard out of the 1950’s the world is powered by atomic energy, in the Fallout universe after World War 2 there became an energy shortage so nuclear power became the main source of the world’s energy. i genuinely think this series would be SO interesting to get your opinions about the characters and the world they live in, especially after finishing the first season!! if you do continue to watch the show, hopefully i can add a lil background info from the videos games if you ever need any clarification!! (and also you absolutely DO NOT need any knowledge of the video games to enjoy the show, just for geeks like me having Hank call his daughter his “sugar bomb” for example is a really popular cereal in the game you can find and eat, so small things like that are sprinkled into the show to get us gamers excited haha)

Haven't seen fallout, looks like I'll be watching it through Tom. Holding on hope that YOU will be one of the new shows, used to think it rivalled Dexter, now I think it's better 🙏🤞

In cannon the bombs fall Oct. 23 2077

What an EXCELLENT start to Mystery Week. Omg. I'm locked in. Kyle McLachlan is a treasure in everything he's in and as a fan of Twin Peaks, I squealed when I saw him for the first time. Still got my fingers crossed that Six Feet Under is one of the surprises 💃🏻💃🏻🖤

I was playing Fallout just to stop playing and watch Fallout. 🫣 There is something in that that's not healthy, I'm sure.

YEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH OH I CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH THIS LATER AFTER PT OMG

Fallout Hell yeahhhhh

Yes Love this show! I mean its not Ted Lasso, but still amazing lol.

Never seen this before, let's gooooo

I’m gonna try and give every show this week a chance

Whoop Whoop mfkr!!!!! Come on guys we need the whole series now 💪🏼

Been anxiously waiting for this lol

I had my fingers 🤞 for TWD. Maybe I'll have better luck tomorrow.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Warius... Warius never changes...
