Introducing: Oldsmobile 4-4-2 1969.
Introducing you one of the next projects to be released later this month: The Oldsmobile 442 1969! The Catalina 2+2 has to be yet ported to the game. Expect introduction very soon.
The 442 stands for 4-barrel carburetor, 400 CUI engine and dual exhaust.

I believe the 442 stand for is on the Cutlass model pretty sure there are 2 type of 442 one is like you said and the other one is 4 barrel carb 4 speed manual trans and 2 exhaust I think it the W-30 model.
Oh yeah, I've read about it too. One was defined as a "Cutlass" model with 4-4-2 standing for 4-speed man, 4-barrel carb and dual exhaust, whether oth other one stood for 400CUI, 4-barrel carb, dual exhaust, but that was not a "Cutlass" model, it was a standalone 442 model.
