I just have to say, I'm SO HYPED from the show!! I've been showing it to everyone I know and they have all fallen in love with your stories! Both my younger brother and close friend Jess purchased Solitaire after we watched Heartstopper cause they wanted to read your books too! X3 You are amazing Alice, thank you for making Heartstopper in the first place. I always think when I watch it how if I had this when I was a kid it would have been so good for me. But, even as an adult it is helping me as I sometimes struggle with being a Pan/Bi Trans Man. Like the idea of "picking" a side......its been so so helpful to see this. Thank you again.

I just watched the eight episodes in French of the first season and my heart raced throughout. All the actors are amazing. The dubbing is of very good quality. You have done a terrific job. It's the Charlies, Nicks, Tao's, Elle's and all the others I loved in the comics. Rest well Alice and take your time, your health is more important.

On my fourth watch... I require at least one more season or I don't know how I will survive.

There are, differently, not enough episodes; I would love for this to turn into an anime, so there would be hundreds of episodes. Seriously what about this is so addicting!

This is definitely a safe space to confess I am on the tenth rewatch, and I think the 6th time making my friends watch it with me.

I've never seen such a good adaptation. I knew I would like the show and had great expectations but I never thought they would be exceeded. Really goes to show how important it is that the creator of the source material is included in adapting their work. Forever grateful Netflix and you worked so close together <3

ALICCCE since kit(Nick) is a good singer you should have him sing a song for (Joe) Charlie in the next season (if there is one ❤️) it would be so cute!!!!! Also I have watched heartstopper like 200 times it's kind of concerning. thx so much for everything!!!!

Alice, I just wanted to thank you for all the love and kindness you bring to this world! You can't imagine how much Nick & Charlie's story mean to so many people, no matter their gender or sexuality. I've been following you for 3y now and I love your work, and this show is just as amazing as the books! But the most important is, that, yesterday I just ended up living a very special moment with my son, like Nick and his mum have at the end of the season, and this is all thanks to you! My 7 year-old boy was desperatly asking to watch the show, he's been asking for ages but I thought maybe he was to young, but we finally watched it together so that we could talk about every subject (including the bulling that he already experienced at school), I had the feeling that he needed it. And I still can't believe that he ended up telling me that he is like Nick, that he has crushes on girls but also on boys, and that he is secretely having a cruch on a boy at school! He's only 7, I can't believe how brave he is! I saw how much interest he had on my Heartstopper books and so, I saw him discreetly taking them sometimes to read them, so I knew it was important to be open at any time and to make him confident about these subjects, but I would never have expected him to open up so early! I'm so grateful that I have this wonderful boy in my life, I'm so honored to be his mum, and I'm so grateful that people like you exist in the World, to help us to bring joy and kindness around our rainbow kids! I'm sure Heartstopper will be a story that will guide him for a very long time! 🧡💛💙💚💜

Thank you thank you thank you Alice for bringing them to life on the screen <3 I loved every minute of it (binge watched it alone and just started it again with my BF) and as others have said already, I wish I had such a beautiful and relatable show when i was a teenager ! But it's okay, I get to be a teen again now every time i read the books or watch the show :D it really was great, all around great cast but Kit and Yasmin are my favorites, and Tori is hilarious and EXACTLY how I pictured her. Really well done thanks again !!!!

Wonderful job Alice!!! The casting was perfect all around. Kit stole our hearts so quickly. My fiancee and I both wish this show could have been around when we were younger. The acceptance, the unflinching display of so many gay kisses, Nick not knowing exactly what his sexuality is, and so much more would have been a balm to anxiety filled life we were living in our parents households. Bravo Alice! This has been added to our comfort shows and will be rewatched so many times

I just wish there was a programme like that when I was that age, it would have given me the confidence to come out as bisexual. I definitely shed tears over Nick’s journey as it brought it all back. Anyway, it gave me the impetus to come out as bi to my wife of 20 years. Not because I wanted it to be a big issue but because as they say in the show, it’s important to tell the ones you love. It means I can support my nephew who has just come out as Bi as well. I really really hope for season 2 and 3 and 4!

I loved every minute of the show

At first I was unsure about the addition of Imogene but I ended up loving how she added more of a dimension to nick’s character.

just finished the series 😭😭😭😭 💕💕💕💕SO BEAUTIFUL. I don’t think I’ve ever been so enchanted by book to movie/series adaptation. Everything was just amazing. The cast was so impressive, and the sets. Wow. It really brought everything to life in such a perfect way. I can’t wait to rewatch it and I truly hope we get to see a second season.

I don't think I've ever binged a show in a single day before: I couldn't stop watching and now I'm honestly a little bit bummed that it's all over. And now I'm "bingeing" the web toons! :-) Thank you so much for making a graphic novel about gay teenage love that is sweet and uplifting, but at the same time realistic: it's a very hard line to tread and I think you did it beautifully. Here's hoping Season 2 is green-lit soon: I can't wait for it!

I was having issues with insomnia, so I opened netflix and Heartstopper popped up and I literally up all night watching and crying. Nick and Charlie will always be some of the best written characters and it was such a fantastic experience seeing them on screen! So so so so amazing, Alice! I couldn’t stop binge-reading the comics and now I can’t stop binge-watching the tv series🥰❤️

Alice, I can't praise the show enough. I watched it all in one go today and it was an incredible experience. The actors, the dialogue, the setting (with all of the original art that I assume you did or was at least inspired by your style!) were such an authentic yet fresh adaptation of the comic. I wanted to just give a sincere congrats on the show and a huge thank you. This would have been incredibly impactful for me if it came out when I was 15. (As it is, I cried at the end of season 1 at 25 years old instead! 🤣) Amazing work.

I'm really happy to see a show set in highschool played by actual teens! One of the most relatable representation I've ever seen. Kit Connor is a future star. The show makes me smile a lot, I wished it existed back when I was in highschool. Amazing show for teenagers, I hope it will be renewed for many more seasons, thanks for the amazing work!
