I’ve grown with these characters (since I started reading this when I was 14), and it’s crazy I’m able to experience such a foundational piece of media in my life take on a new form, and hopefully help even more queer youth connect :’)

I discovered Heartstopper about a year ago, and it has been an overwhelmingly amazing experience. Things i wish i had when i was younger, and lessons that need to be taught to LGBTQ youth. I am so excited and thrilled not just for the show, but for all the LGBTQ teens who are going to see this and see/hear exactly what they need to. This is a monumental step in my opinion for LGBT cinema, and im so proud of you and what you have been able to accomplish!!

I know so many people put lots of hard work into this show and it really is apparent with this trailer (I loved every second but especially the near hand holding!!!) But we wouldn't be here if it wasnt for your characters and your story-telling! You took so much care in crafting Nick and Charlie that they feel so life like and so people want to see them on tv! I'm so so thrilled and I'm so lucky that I'll be done school by April 22 so I can watch the show with no external obligations other than work!!!!

And to see actual teens playing teens in a lgbtq+ show is the representation I wish I had when I was growing up!
