Introducing the Heartstopper cast!
Here they are!!! In case you haven't seen on my social media already!
Introducing the super lovely, super talented cast of Heartstopper!!!!
William Gao is Tao, Yasmin Finney is Elle, Corinna Brown is Tara, Kizzy Edgell is Darcy, Sebastian Croft is Ben, Cormac Hyde-Corrin is Harry, Tobie Donovan is Isaac, Rhea Norwood is Imogen, and, as you already know, Kit Connor is Nick and Joe Locke is Charlie!
THE TALENT IN THIS ONE PHOTO!!!! I honestly can’t express how excited and happy I am about the cast of the Heartstopper TV adaptation. I went into this process feeling excited but very nervous, because I know that book adaptations sometimes aren’t too great, or the casting isn’t quite right, or any other number of things might go wrong. But y’all… THIS CAST. Every one of these young actors is SO talented, and they’re just the sweetest bunch of people, it has been a joy to get to know them. The casting process was very tough and very nerve-wracking, and we searched high and low - over 10,000 applications! But we found them. And we’re all having SO much fun making this show together. We’ve spent a lot of time rehearsing together and talking about the characters, their arcs, and their importance to the story, and I know they’re all going to make you readers proud! I cannot WAIT for you to see them bring the Heartstopper world to life, I only wish I could share more now but alas, all I can share is this one cute photo of them. SAY HI TO THE CAST OF HEARTSTOPPER!
There are more roles you may be intrigued about - Tori, Mr Ajayi, Coach Singh, Nick's mum, Charlie's parents… maybe even Nellie 🐶?? I hope I’ll get to share more casting info in the future, but this is it for now. Thank you SO much for the incredible response thus far!!
I’ll be sharing more info in my Insta story about the new characters Isaac and Imogen, and explaining why Aled and Oliver are not in the show, so check that out soon if you have questions!

Thanks for explaining about Aled and Oliver on Insta, Alice. I can understand why they aren't in the TV show. Isaac and Imogen sound fascinating, seeing how you weave them into the story will be interesting.
If this isn't the cutest bunch of kids I've ever seen! Like a real group of friends. And they look ready to take on the job of bringing Heartstopper to the big audience! Congratulations Alice on a GREAT cast! 🙌
Cast looks great! Still a little sad about Oliver, that little dude was so adorable but I am also excited about discovering new characters!
So excited! Loving the actors for Tara and Darcy. With the group shot, I can see the Nick in Kit. Oh this is going to be fun.
OMG I LOVE!!!! I can’t wait to see it 😭 also super excited to see Nellie’s pup actor 👏

They’re all so perfect!!
They all so beautiful 😭💕💕
Fantastic! And if we aren't on Instagram, is there another place we can read about Aled and Oliver?

This makes me so happy!
aaah i teared up reading this!! and i'm soooo far from being a teenager haha, but i'm just so happy that you got this opportunity and that things are turning out so well for all of you 😘💕💕💕
How does Kizzy emit more chaos Darcy energy than Darcy? They are all so perfect. I am sad about Alex, but I couldn’t have picked a more fitting crew.
This cast looks perfect!! I'm so excited to see their work ♥️
These kiddos are all so adorable, oh my gosh!!!! This is going to be so amazing. I’m glad you’re all having such a good time making this.
Absolutely perfect with the casting choices! Not only does the cast look so similar to the characters they're playing, but they actually look like teenagers rather than adults trying to play teens! I cannot wait to see this!!
Ok thank you! I need to get a Twitter 😆.
This cast looks like they jumped out of the comics, they look so good!
Is Imogen a new character for the show?
Yes!

How can Elle be so pretty?? Perfect cast!
Love all of them. Now we just need Nick and Charlie’s parents, Tori, and best girl Nellie
I love it....
I cannot believe my eyes MY GOODNESS LOOK AT THIS CAST!!!!! 😭😭😭💕💕💕
They're all so cute!!!! 😭🥰💕
Who’s Imogen??
Wait where is Aled?
She explained once that she can't do Aled's story justice in the show without ignoring the events of Radio Silence so Aled won't be in the show. (she explained it on Twitter)
Lol not me thinking Ben was Darcy for a minute 🤡
❤️❤️❤️
SO EXCITING!! THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT!
The gay teachers are my first pick for finding out casting! Of course could be a while, maybe in a...later season? 👀
Mr Ajayi may possibly be appearing in season one...
