We shot the Photo Booth photos for Heartstopper Forever very early in the shoot - it might even have been rehearsal week !? Which was a pretty daunting task… to capture such an important story moment before we’d shot anything else and anyone had had time to warm up! But of course these guys absolutely nailed it! 🩷

Kit and Joe are just so beautiful together. To be able to look at each other and be that intimate even just as best friends show the true depth of their love for each other. Friendships like that in life are so rare and I'm glad Heartstopper brought them together to form that bond in real life that depicts it so well in their acting on screen.
I really need to watch the movie again
Every rewatch makes me feel less anxious, the first time really was tough to watch, but with each rewatch I like finding new things that I hadn't really enjoyed the first time. Like the break up scene, for some reason first time I felt so sad for Nick, second watch I felt bad for Charlie, and on the third watch I felt bad for both.

CUTE CUTE CUTIES! Of course they knocked them out of the park! Their chemistry in the original photos is so nuts considering how green they were to their parts, and how little they knew each other, and it’s wild to see how convincing they are in the later photo booth photos- you can see their character’s mindset before they have even shot the scenes that led them to that place. It feels like you can almost read their thoughts. It’s such a testament to their chemistry, tight bond, love and respect for each other and the work, and immense talent as actors that they are so convincing even in a photo. It’s been a privilege to see them grow up and grow as actors. Thank you so much for sharing these with us along with everything else you’ve opened up to us throughout creating #6/Heartstopper Forever. It means so much, and makes our hearts so full.

I love how photo booths create this little sacred place…where you can BE fully YOU, fully in LOVE, free to kiss and smile and giggle, together in your own little cocoon. It’s Nick and Charlie’s favorite kind of place…just theirs. And how sweet is it that these were shot so early…Kit and Joe will always carry a little Nick and Charlie in them, even as they move on in their growing careers. Makes my heart smile. Hope you are doing okay, Alice. It’s been a strange whirlwind and now you get to take a breath for a bit, which is good and probably weird too. Sending peace and joy to you, too🫶💜

It was really hard to narrow it down! I tried to find a variety that complimented (but didn’t exactly mirror) the s1 photos, and also made sense as a physical journey (imagining what the sequence of physical action would be in the Photo Booth, which we would shoot at a later point)
