I finally sat down to watch this and it was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! I can’t believe that I found your channel because of Heartstopper and to now see you interviewing ALICE is just so so lovely!!!!!

Well done!! I enjoyed that so much!! Heartstopper saved me too 2 years ago when I was suddenly stood down from work due to perceived health and mental health issues, the joy in the show helped and I watched it constantly. I also found ASWT and your humour and education helped so much. Being neurodivergent, suffering depression was seen as a ‘problem’ and having issues’ in my workplace and I was bullied constantly by people who should have had my back. I may not be LGBTQ but I understand prejudice and having to fight for my place. It has made me so much more resilient and more accepting of people than how I was bought up- and I am a straight 55 year old woman!!

Oh my word! This was EXCELLENT 😍💛💙💛💙💚💜💚💜 When Alice chose a scene from I Saw The TV Glow I was SPEACHLESS. I held my breath through the scene and through Alice talking about it. I could tell they were exasperated, and that it touched them profoundly. It did the same to me. I totally agree there needs to be mainstream culture-changing aroace story. There is Shinya Tamada's I Am What I Am (Japanese: Sobakasu), but it it didn't have Zendaya! 😉 I also loved the quick fire round (how dare you make Alice choose between Nellie and Henry!!! 🙃). I was surprised Alice likes karaoke 😅 I KNEW Alice was a savoury food person! 🥳 But I was surprised they doesn't like coffee. I don't either. Thank you, Alice, for finally explaining "I saw the TV glow" to me! When it came out, everyone around me was like "this is such a great trans story" and I (a trans person) just didn't get it and was bored. I'm actually considering giving it another shot now.
