Oh, I have a question about something I just noticed…does Michael have heterochromia? In the Q&A Michael has a blue eye and green eye. I thought it was a fluke until I went back to the friendmas picture and saw his eyes were colored the same way. Is that intentional, and if so that’s super cool! 😊❤️

Everything about the Q&A is so good, I can see how much you poured your heart and soul into it to make it amazing. One of favourite parts is of Nick and Charlie dancing at their wedding, that made me particularly emotional 🥹

Ellis is my son’s name and I haven’t heard too many people with this name, at least as a given name, and that Nick imagines it for a future child just surprised and delighted me so much. Thank you for a truly wonderful end of 2025, Alice. You really treated us with such beautiful Christmas art and the Q&A. Oh my gosh, that was SO good

My daughter (who loves Heartstopper) and I had been waiting for this all day while we were on a little family getaway in Rome. So when I handed her my phone with the Q&A, we were sitting in a restaurant — and you should have heard how loud she laughed at Tori’s reaction to having another brother… while sitting right next to her own annoying little younger brother. The timing was perfect. She was so happy. And honestly so was I. Really hoping we’ll get at least one more Q&A in the future. A girl (or two girls) can dream.

OMG, Alice! I cannot stop looking at all of these gems! There are so many details, and small glimmers and big joys, and 'awww, sweet loves' and 'OMG, I'm dying I'm laughing so hard,' and such precious, precious moments of them just living life, together. You gave us the best of the best (and kudos to everyone who asked these amazing requests!)...THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Some particular stand outs for me (in bullet form or I'm afraid of how long I will comment, lol): Young Sarah holding baby Nick swaddled in his blankie...we know where Nick gets those nurturing, loving eyes from...and I love that only Nellie had the power to "upgrade" Nick from his blankie Charlie hearing Nick singing and wanting to be as close as possible (even as Nick showers at his mum's house) because Charlie falls even more in love every time he learns something new about Nick...Charlie Spring being smitten and in love is always a win. Aled and Charlie looking so little and soft while also looking like "holy shit, they are letting us do this?!" while holding a test tube with an unknown chemical substance in class...little did they know all that they would experience together back then...they were just babies! The fact that we find out Michael is in fact also a BROTHER-IN-LAW...my heart screamed a little...(and run, Olly, run! This is not a question you want to answer!) Seeing Nick being name Slut of the Week had me cackling, but, even more, my heart was so happy to see him with a set of new friends who clearly accept and love him exactly as he is (and his boyfriend too)...it's healing, you know?! Love the update on my favorite detective and android couple, especially with the best name Nellie Nook, with Charlie holding the Heartstopper series (ofc he is), and Nick baking away but his mind is elsewhere (and thanks for the 3 flags there, Alice. Powerful!). I swear to god, Tara and Darcy were meant to be 80s teens...they look amazing! Song of Achilles is one of my all time favorite novels and to see Patroclus represented had my heart all swollen up again...I love the ? above his head and the ! above Daisy's...i know they will be fast friends and maybe wreak just a little havoc around Nick and Charlie's home (I love saying that last part!) And then, ALL the ones with Nick and Charlie...from the Menorca trip (look how easy and content they are just relaxing and being together), to the "omg we have fans?" one where Nick Nelson is as wide eyed as he can get, thinking about how hot his boyfriend is and how good they look together, to the what do you two like to do and they both go immediately to "NSFW" thoughts before they barely recover, lol, to their you know it is so true secret annoyances (i'm so giggling!) to the way we see them supporting and loving one another during times of stress (Nick taking Charlie's jumper (and Charlie's smell) to Leeds, and Charlie wearing Nick's jumper (again with Nick's smells) and letting Nick's voice and words reassure him HIS first night of college...it's such a beautiful reminder of the way they are ALWAYS there for each other...they are each other's PERSON...the first person they want to talk to each day and the last person they want to talk to before falling asleep, and everything in between. It's love at its finest... And then, the wedding dance pic... can't you see them, eyes closed on the dance floor, everyone but the Paris squad (and Tori and Michael) have left...people are cleaning up, the band is packing up except for that one guitar player who can't stop because Nick and Charlie look too happy to end this song...and Nick and Charlie are oblivious to anything else but each other...and it's okay. Because they are in love... (and the grandad pic of them snoozing...yes! A whole fucking lifetime of love and joy and hope and family they've had...and they aren't done yet!)... The one thing that stands out across all the Nick and Charlie pics is that sweet, warm blushing they always have when they are together (even Nick the android has it, just in a blue color!)...that is external evidence of what is happening in their hearts every time they are together. That is soulmate love, y'all, and Alice said, here you go... Sending love and thanks to you, Alice. It's a lot right now...and I hope you feel the support and gratitude and love from all of us to help buoy you for these last few months...one day at a time!

Alice, your answers to the questions directed toward you are so heartfelt and thoughtful. It has been such a privilege to witness your creative process and get a glimpse into the very human process of creating art like this. I LOVE the little stickers detail in the DBH AU snippet because it just proves that in every universe, Nick and Charlie will stand up for what's right. Love Patroclus because they might be dog dads but they're also very much cat dads coded. Love all the glimpses we got of their beautiful future, including the bit with Olly. That ending was just the sweetest thing with granddads Nick and Charlie still falling asleep together.
