SO MUCH JOY and love on this page...it is exactly as bright and cheery as I imagine a future Heartstopper Friendmas would be. I keep coming back to it today (in between all the things!) and it makes me smile every time! I love that Nick and Charlie are the hosts...seeing those N+C stockings, the carefully placed garland, the bright Christmas tree, the conveniently hung mistletoe (no doubt in the most frequented doorway, oops, time to kiss again, Nick and Charlie, lol)...and THEN, we see their festive table setting with their holiday china out (they have holiday china sets, y'all!)! Charlie is wearing a Santa hat (because it makes his curls do that thing that makes Nick's heart extra fluttery) and Nick is wearing his BIG NICK ENERGY shirt (you know that Charlie found that and was SO PROUD to gift it to Nick...it is literally perfect in all the ways!)...and then the icing on the cake of their precious domesticity, Nick wearing oven mitts as he brings their first course to the table. It is the future we all knew they would have...but better than we imagined! And then the gang...I'm screaming over Sahar's red hair...it totally fits (and i say that as someone who has pink hair)..and i love how she is selecting their records. I love that she has kept her musical gifting...Elle looks so grown up, and the way she is content seeing Tao (who has his own admirer...the cutest Daisy ever...you know she has the best dog life with her two dads!)...it makes me wonder where Tao and Elle are in their friendship...it's clear their affection for each other (whether platonic or romantic) is still strong. In the back of the room, Tara is giving the best hug to Charlie...maybe after sharing some "this is why we have the best partners" conversation. Their rosy cheeks are too cute...showing the warm camaraderie they still share. It's just the best...then we see potential chaos as Michael (already wearing his King's hat) plays on his switch (I can only guess what game!!!) as Darcy energetically advises his play...you can feel their energy (and that maybe Darcy was supposed to be filling everyone's wine glass, but hey, priorities)...and my eyes linger here for a bit, looking at the soft glow of the Christmas trees lights ( I love the aesthetic...it really makes this feel so warm and cozy and magical...and safe!). Last but not least, we see Tori and Aled (of course they are sitting because that draws the least attention). Tori looks talkative and happy, and Aled has really "found" himself (go read Radio Silence if you haven't yet) and that hair is everything...the purple tips especially. I love how both of their hands are both on the Christmas cracker (I think that is what it is), and I totally love the vibe they are sharing...confident and happy and open. It's lovely! The more I look at this page, the more I love...but mostly I love the joy and peace and hope and love it captures. THIS is what the holidays should feel like. Wishing everyone a safe and peaceful holiday...and sending a huge THANK YOU to Alice for this beautiful treat (to me, it was worth staying up so late because it is amazing!).

This is so beautiful and reminds me of me and my friends. Even though we are busy adults now (wired to type haha) we always try to get together around Christmas or at least new years and celebrate together and have a lovely time.
