I think they made a mistake. I think ciri story closed well in the Witcher 3. Instead they should do a Witcher game based on Vesemir when he was Young. How the wolf order was destroyed and he has to survive on his own and how he started rebuilding the order.

Love everything about this trailer and the passion it will reignite. Artists, weapon smiths, cosplayers, writers, everyone!

So excited that it’s finally happening! So far CDPR really did it again, the looks, the atmosphere… looking forward to the first gameplay trailers and the story. I like how they built up Ciri.

I like how the game looks, I hope they fully utilise the game engine for realism and fighting mechanics. Ciri looks perfect. She looks like she has seen some shit, like she's has grown into Geralt's shoes and is just as bitter and hardened. Bring it on!

Geralt will forever be mine no. 1 Witcher Ciri can take second place, no problem. I will wait until gameplay trailer to have any opinions. Now its good

I love Geralt, but he can't last forever. When games become entirely stagnant with their identity it kills beloved titles. Having a likeable character we know as the protagonist with Geralt as a supporting character is a smart choice. As an elder Witcher and your father he will adapt that fatherly guiding role and it will feel nice. Having an entirely new school or a build your own character situation sounds nice at first, but it would be such a massive undertaking and would cut out all the beloved characters they've already built. On another note, I sure do hope we get our swords before the game is released!

The witcher for me is all about playing as Geralt, but I'm just glad they put somthing together that looks technically very impressive. More witcher in any form is good, but with Geralt being dropped and Henry Cavill being dropped from the series, I dont know, just sort of ruins it for me.

I am just happy that there finally is some news about Witcher 4. The fight and the effects looked great. Ciri is the logical next main protagonist and makes sense. I was a bit surprised that they changed her so much from her Witcher 3 looks.

Love it, cant wait for it to come out. I just hope they dont mess up like cp2077, they should take it slow and release a polished game, thats all that matters. Also id really love to order an Aerondight, i didnt know you stopped making swords, is it because youre building the new forge?

Now the real question of the day is will you fire up your forge so I can place a sword order

I'm loving it. Admittedly I was very worried CDPR my mess it up with all the DEI nonsense that's all the rage these days. But I'm glad this is not the case. At least I don't consider Ciri being the main character as being the case. My question to you is, will this motivate you to make some swords again? Because I've been waiting to order one off you! Haha.

Geralt is the witcher. Simple formula to follow, and with guaranteed results. This just looked like a gender swap to me. Same armour, an un feminine acting and looking Ciri, and a copycat fight like geralt had with the Striga with the chain. Felt forced. they'll argue that ciri was natural progression of the story etc. i don't buy it but i guess everyone has their own imagination and interpretation. As a father, both from the books and in W3 i could relate to geralt protecting his family. With chivalry. I cannot relate to this so i lose interest. Its fanfic for a few ESG points. Money talks bullsh*t walks. Well see if its a veilguard flop or an eldenring piece of art

Im so excited for the next gen of witcher. Both in the sense of continuing the story of Ciri, and to have a game with a stronger engine. Im also superstoked about all the new gear and weapons to come out of it.

I like it. Beautiful Ciri, nice fight, familiar and beloved setting and atmosphere. I like that they let us know that they will punish us for bad decisions.

I think that because of dei politics they deliberately made ciri to be less attractive and old look as there’s been a lot of defeminisation in gaming lately with Star Wars outlaws for example they seem to be pushing a agenda that women are to appear man like to what I figure is to make trans looking people appear more normal
