First off, I want to let people know, I have done simple edits/alterations before for my covers. For example: color swapping.
Going forth, I will NOT be doing simple jobs like that. If I were to make another version of my cover, there WILL be substantial change.
If you see any simple (terrible) edits from the original cover, THAT IS NOT ME!!

Believe me when I say I don't like writing about this (it's a big waste of my time), but I believe this situation may hurt my career if I do not address it at least one time. I made a mistake in cooperating with one of my clients, and it seems it gave the person and some other people some "ideas."
Let me explain:
I make the cover, get paid, it gets published. THE END.
The problem: without me knowing, my cover gets tweaked and sold as a new cover again, again, and again, etc.

- What bugs me is not that they may be profiting off that (I try not to think about that stuff).
- What REALLY bugs me is that it looks HORRENDOUS and is in my name! It is the most amateur photoshop job ever!! 🤢

Really sucks to hear this, I'm sorry this is happening. People just are... something. It not helps much, but I'll continue cheering and supporting your work as much as I can. Best regards man.

This is indeed terrible. Understandable that you didn't wanna write this, however it actually is very helpful. There are so many variant covers from simple color changes alone. That itself can differentiate others from your edits. Plus for the actual fans that respect your work can know what's been going on. It's a lot, but thanks for pointing this out, this is very informative.
Damn .... really crappy work from them, but I wonder who would buy those versions because at a glance they look ugly as sin 😆

Sorry to hear, that sucks. It's a shame since stuff like the Dark Felicia cover was awesome. But totally understandable, do what you gotta do. 👍
Dude, I was looking at the Harley cover you did not too long ago for a smaller comic publisher they were selling a "Christmas" version of it (probably the 4th or 5th iteration of that initial cover), and it looked awful. You can tell it was a shitty Photoshop job to add some green and red and some weird lighting around it. For anyone paying any attention, and anyone who truly knows your work, it would set off some alarms. It did with me, and I did not purchase. Thank you for confirming my suspicions, and I will not be buying from that seller again. They should not be taking advantage of your work like that.
Unfortunately I did do a Joker-ish and monochromatic version of Harley... And I think it sparked the idea for people to do "stuff like that" to my cover(s). 🥴 So that's why going forth, I will make substantial changes to alternate versions of my cover.
