Tasks can now overlap

Until now the game did one thing at a time: an instruction played, finished, then the next one was picked. That meant a thirty-second hold breath was thirty seconds of nothing else happening.

That changes with this update. Tasks that use different parts of you can now run at the same time. Pinch your clamps while you keep stroking. Hold your breath through a red light. Close your eyes under an acceleration. The game works out what conflicts and what doesn't, so you'll never be told to attach clamps and keep a tempo at once, but anything that only needs one hand, your breath, your eyes or your PC muscle can land on top of whatever you're already doing.

New settings, under Advanced

Task Frequency and Concurrent Tasks now live together in one Task Pacing section. Concurrent Tasks has a switch and a "maximum tasks at once" from 2 to 4. Turn it off and you get the sequential game exactly as before. Turn it up and the game tries harder to fill the slots.
