Elapsed Time + More HUD Options
I just added the elapsed time of your current game to the HUD alongside a couple other HUD options. I also added some images beside each HUD option so its easier to understand exactly what each setting represents.

Does the game compare elapsed time with the game time limit? Usually seams like it goes way longer

It should show you how longs its been since the game STARTED. It doesn't look at the game limits. The reason the game might go longer than your limits depends on your settings. If for example you set a min edge count of 10, the game won't end until that condition is met.
