The Cabin - Episode 11 | Dev-Note
Hey all,
Just wanted to jump on real quick with another update. As I'm sure some of you know, I also work full time on WTHI ( Where The Heart Is ) and this month is the release of season 2. Due to that fact, I've been trying to put a lot more time into WTHI in an attempt to make sure we hit the release date on the 27th. As my focus has been on WTHI so much, I haven't had too much time to focus on The Cabin. That being said, it doesn't mean work hasn't been happening. The artist has been chugging along with the art, so progress isn't stalled at all. That being said, the artist costs an absolute fortune, and I am going to have to pause his work once he finishes his current batch. I shit you not when I say this game costs 300% more than it makes, and at some point I'm going to have to sit down and see just how viable it is to continue the production of The Cabin as I currently am. And that's not me saying I'm thinking about abandoning it; far from it, in fact, I have plans that'll hopefully elevate it to new heights, but that's a story for another day. The good news is, once Season 2 of WTHI is out, I'll have a lot of spare time to jump back onto The Cabin and push it past the finish line.
That being said, I have decided to pause Patreon payments until the release is done. I find myself constantly promising faster releases, and then something happens that shits all over that promise, and truth be told, I'm a little tired of it, and that's another thing I'm going to need to look at solving going forward. That being said, I also plan to pause the Patreon every time we hit a 4-month production wall.
And lastly, I am sadly going to need to push this month's 4Ks to the start of next month. I may be able to get them out this month, but with everything going on I just haven't had time to start on them and don't think it's going to happen this month. That being said, I will also reset the poll for next month too so Grace and Hazel won't be blocked out, just as a little apology.
As for an expected release date... I'm honestly scared to even think about it. There are probably about another 300 renders that need to be done, and with me taking a little time off WTHI next month, I hope to have all art finished next month, but I don't want to promise anything, as my promises never seem to hold any weight. Just know that I'm trying :P

Hello everyone, I want to join up for a membership because I absolutely love the game and I wanted to join discord to ask some questions before I join but I assume that I need a membership first? Also, I'm confused as all hell? I know who the dev is that creates WTHI but CellStudios is different from the dev that I see under the actual game dev? Is this dev helping the other dev create WTHI? I just didn't want to join for a membership if CellStudios is split between two games and it takes forever to release updates for the Cabin? So, back to the Cabin, this is a very very enjoyable game so far, the women are gorgeous, the story and dialogue keep me engaged and the animations are very good!!! Also, I was reading the tags for the game,a full harem and pregnancy are part of the tags? Any information or opinion is appreciated. Thank You

Is there another platform where you haven't paused pledges? My support for you has nothing to do with how often you can push content. I enjoy your games and so want to support you no matter what.
Sorry, I didn't get a notification for your comment for some reason. I really appreciate it though but I'm only on Patreon and Steam ( I would pause steam too but steam doesn't have that feature 😔).
