Chasing The Devil - Franklin, Louisiana
This week, in Franklin, Louisiana, an awkward exchange between an ex couple, involving a secret Wal Mart meeting, and a home pregnancy test, leads to a wild night of carnage. A woman is taken for a scary ride, being told she certainly won't survive what's about to happen, which somehow unfolds into even more murder, and one of the craziest chases that a murderer has ever tried to pull off. Who survives, and who will admit to what are major questions, and the answers are crazy!!
Along the way, we find out that black bears are endangered in Louisiana, that if someone that you're scared of invites you to a meeting at Wal Mart, you should be even more scared, and that a van is not the best vehicle for a 100 mph run from the cops while plowing through crops!!

Please come back to Michigan
Moral of the story. Don’t cheat, you never know who will try and kill you 😭😭😭
lol you’ll shoot a predator to protect your flock or herd. Coyotes are more of a fox in my eyes.
But what if my father makes Connor mcgreggor look civilized🤣
my cousin ricky died in a logging accident 🥴
Is there some more exciting stuff after the 1:50:00 mark? I stopped because it sounded like it was just about to be court docs for an hour? That’s interesting but just, not today lol
"You can use a cappuccino machine and get the same thing though, for the milk, it works the same". Ummm. James? 🤨
Excuse me, James! It is very common in the nerd community to keep dice in a Crown Royal bag. I laughed so freaking hard. My hubby used to now planning to have his next gun focused character keep his ammo in a velvet bag.
All I can hear is “Zimmer-MAN in Ice T’s voice … if ya know ya know 😂
I still own a coozie that says “is that your final answer”
Native Louisianan here- and my home state takes great pride in shitting all over the English language at every opportunity. Pronunciation is where we truly shine. This one isn’t too bad, though. Think of it as similar to the last name of the actor, Heath Ledger- only with some Cajun dust sprinkled on it. The ‘g’ is soft and sounds like the ‘zsa’ in Zsa Zsa Gabor. The second part is just an ‘ay’ sound, like the ‘he’ in Bobby Hebert. Leger= LayZsaay
I don't know what's happening in America, but in Australia Tradies are doing really, really well, and many will make massive amounts of money and retire early.
Everyone I know that is in the trades here in America pretty much write their own tickets. Very well off.
Ahhh grew up in patterson, right down the highway. Cant wait to listen
Not Ludacris 😂🤣💀💀💀
I keep all my rolled coins in a Crown Royal Bag (Green Apple) and I proudly drop it on the teller's counter when I go to the bank to deposit them! 🤣 #noshame
Thought you don’t make fun of the victims. You don’t need to make any comments about their experience. Love you guys but I think throwing shade on their reported experience is not fair game.
We keep Scrabble tiles in a Crown Royal bag! Funny thing is, no one I have ever known drinks Crown Royal so I have no idea how we even wound up with it.
Ricky Smiley, Ricky Gervais, Ricky Carmichael, Ricky Martin, Ricky Williams, Ricky Schroeder, Ricky Steamboat, All famous and all wealthy, and most importantly, alive! 😆
She killed my baby!
That’s some insane nimrodery
My husband has a cousin named Ricky... Yes his full first name with equally interesting choices of middle names .. Ricky Lynn, a brother named Randy Lynn & a sister Vicky Lee all born in the late 50's early 60's 🤷🏼♀️ idk other than hubbys aunt drank a lot 🤣 Ricky is still alive & grandfather of 6 but DID survive a tractor trailer accident that killed hubby & his mutual uncle so maybe that's why he beat the odds 🤣🤣
TIL I'm a redneck. I keep valuable jewelry in a Crown Royal bag in my safe. 😂
My grandparents kept the Scrabble letters in a Crown Royal bag in the 80’s. 😂
My mom still does 🤦🏼♀️😂😂
Hahahahaha when I was in college, I had that crown royal bag
I'm getting sad that it's been a while since we had a Ludacri at a random fair 🫤
It's hilarious that Jimmie says, "It tells you how long you wait (snap!); it's ALWAYS so much quicker"......... Jimmie's must've ALWAYS been positive 😂😳
I have bulletts in a crown royal bag 🤣 my dad gave them to me that way, what was I supposed to do 🤷🏽♀️
Yes, it is entirely safe and highly recommended to let a concussion patient sleep uninterrupted, provided they have been monitored for an initial period and are acting normally while awake. Just to clear the air with concussion protocol and head injury
I have an uncle Ricky. He's over 80. Had rheumatic fever as a child so his heart is shit. Bad arthritis so hip/knees are shit. Did carpentry, ran traplines, worked in da woods, eh. All his brothers died in their early 80s and did safer jobs.
Hey. Sometimes the doctor’s family IS the shit family 😆 we ended up 3 neurotic overachieving bullies and 2 druggie fuckups 😆 - signed, not the overachiever
My mom used to keep laundry quarters in a Crown Royal bag when I was younger.
Remember the episode about the stripper in Alaska that kept her money in the Crown Royal bag? All I could think about.
This place is like the teen pregnancy capital of the world. Not gonna lie, though, adult kids out of the house at 36 is pretty sweet.
Early retirement; well played.
There is definitely a bonus stemming from the UK version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire. A guy won the million was later accused of cheating by having a plant in the studio cough for every correct answer on the choice of four and I belive it ended up in criminal court
I’m a delivery driver, and listening to these fellas while doing my route is like getting paid to drive and chill with the Murder Crew🤟🏾🖖🏾
Glad to see you back in the comments, turkey.
My dad used to keep his change in a crown royal bag🤣
Fun Fact: My middle name is Royale (picked by my sister, who was 6) cuz when my dad left before I was born, he left a bunch of Crown Royal bags behind. Lol. Idk where the “e” came from but it’s become a family name- my daughter and granddaughter both share my middle name!
We had cane corsos and everyone said they look like mini horses
I love how trashy I am sometimes😂 I have changed though. I no longer carry my ammo in a Crown Royal bag though, so I have changed with improvement!🙌
Welcome back to Smell Town Murder!
“I’m trying to harass a woman but I can’t afford it at the moment. Can you subside my harassment of a woman please?” LMAOOO
Well, I was on who wants to be a millionaire in 2009 but I was on with Meredith Vira and I won $50,000
I tried out when Meredith was hosting. I got pretty far until I was knocked out of contention by a librarian from Boise. All I got was a sticker 🤣
I was picturing the freeze frame, at the end of “Rocky III”, with Rocky & Apollo punching each other… …but, wayyy more white-trashy!
Jimmie’s comments about horror movies he saw as a kid resonated with me.
I’m currently watching the episode based in Franklin, LA. I live in North West LA…Shreveport. Use the southern accent as much as you want. I love hearing that!
I absolutely love when James roasts Jimmie about his previous ‘job’ 🤣🤣
Sugar cane plantations were the worst. Just moving thru the fields, plants slice your skin. And the masters weren't much better. And cane still rules in many parishes. My daughter is marrying soon and we fortunately found a gorgeous "plantation" w 300yo oaks for her venue. But it was built in the 1920s when we were "Rumrunners" in Prohibition. "Waterfront" could be brackish bayous with currents like my home is. Great swimming, fishing, camping and crabbing.
my last bf kept his fly fishing reel in a Crown Royal bag 😆 to his credit, he doesn't drink at all hahaha
Oil! 🤣
One of my fave early Jimmie-isms. I don't remember the episode, though. Does anyone else know?
Also - how do you, Jimmie Whisman, know who John Tesch is??? Outstanding.
Yay!!!
Let's go on a trip!
