Quest Failed: Chapter Two - Public Demo Release
Hiya there,
It's now been one week since the release of the early access demo to all of my wonderful beta tester patrons and now it's finally time to release the demo fully! I hope you all enjoy the fun little video accompanying the release, featuring Ren, explaining how the demo came to be~ (Don't worry, I came out of the encounter fairly unscarred. Physically, at least.)

As far as I'm aware, after sleepless days of testing and putting everything together, there shouldn't be any issues with downloading things for your OS of choice. But if by chance you run into issues that hinder your enjoyment of the demo, please do give me a shout and I'll fix things up as fast as I can!
I sincerely hope you enjoy what the demo has to offer and that it might get you excited for the full release down the line~

Thanks for the demo. And for the hard work you guys are putting into Quest Failed. you guys are up to and in some cases surpass some of the big company's. The stories are fun the girls are very interesting ( Think I have a thing for Tari lol ) the UI is well put together. Well I guess it's easier to say "bloody Good Job All Around ! Keep It Up Guys !
Well.... I finished the demo.... What can I say......I LIKE IT! Looking forward to the next full build, 1 comment... on the back ground scenes when the market is supposed to be busy, or the guards are standing watch, there should be some characters in the background to help represent the feel of the market and the presence of the guards. That way the scenes don't feel quite so empty.
Is this demo the same as the alpha demo?
Yup--it's the same as the one I sent out to $15+ tier patrons the other week ago. Alpha Build 0.4 and beyond being given to alpha backers in the $25 range still has more content, however.
Alright so I've tried the demo and I regret playing it. The reason is because now my anticipation for the full thing is now as high as my anticipation for a AAA game! That's how much I've enjoyed it and finding out it was only a small fraction of what is to come is only increasing my hype. Great job and can't wait to see the finished chapter.

this is absolutely fantastic, i have no possible complaints... but i have to ask... is there some idea of when the hole game will be released? four, maybe six months? a year?
i'm not rushing, i believe that you can take as much time as you need, but i do wonder.
The voice acting and writing is outstanding as always. So glad you exist Frost!

Hello. I will say it just once. This is fucking disturbing how every female actor has the same voice. No matter how many times I listen to them, this is all one female voicing all characters using different tones. It really makes me think like all of them are the same characters and ruins the immersion and all of the characters altogether. As the game progress player could like some characters for her character and how story revolved around them through the game, but this one thing just melts all of it into stinking pile of poop. Besides this, well done.
Hiya, thank you for taking the time to play through the demo, I appreciate it~ Due to the expansive cast of Chapter Two and the smaller pool of VAs that are comfortable with adult voicework, this does mean that I have to give 2 or 3 roles per voice actress to ensure that everybody is voiced, and do apologise if you feel that some voices may be a little too similar--though it's an unfortunate limitation due to the project's scope. Though I did try to cast roles as carefully as possible to avoid too much of a clash in terms of their voices being too similar. In the demo, for example, Deidra and June share the same voice actress--though Lucille and Marine (the mermaid) are both entirely different VAs. In the future as I create and assign VAs to more characters, I'll certainly try to be more careful with my voice direction for each of them to avoid too much overlap in terms of sound and I'm sorry if my current method of assigning voices perhaps took you out of the experience in some way--though I believe that each VA so far has been doing an amazing job in bringing the characters to life!
Sooo, gonna ask what everyone is wondering. Any ETA for the full release?
I want to avoid giving any solid date as they always seem to backfire on me in the the most disastrous of ways, but am really going to try and push to get everything put together in the coming months. It's a huge project for sure--one of the biggest I've ever managed, but I think it'll all be worth it in the end! As always, I thank you for your continued support and patience~
Ren Is so fckn extra it’s hilarious. So over the top but she’s right this is drawing closer to the full release!
I just gotta be careful not to overdo it with Ren's character and give people a breather from her I think, haha, since too much of a good, crazy thing can sometimes wear on people.
