seems like the blunt weapon and sharp weapon d&d type stuff applies here. Blunt attack strong against armor. Slicing attacks strong against flesh. maybe thats why his hands destroyed the armor of it. just a guess

It looks like he is strong when he chucks the weapon at the Golem but it's honestly not that big of a feat. It's one of those cases where the difference from A to S rank is way bigger than E to D or D to C for example. The tank is flabbergasted but it's not that big a deal

yea I was also surprised that he was able to beat the snake boss. idk if its supposed to be the same one cause this one seemed a lot smaller but the monster at the end looks like the one in the opening
