First off, I would not tell Jack how character's scale. That's a bit of a minor spoiler. It's easier to scale Doffy for us because we have future knowledge. I mean, it's not that surprising where Jack scales things considering where we are in the story, even if Jack assuming Doffy was stronger than Aokiji was quite a leap considering what we have seen Admirals capable of. There is no way to actually scale Doflamingo right now because he has just been shown dominating people with no one standing a chance against him. Aokiji stopped him by freezing him, but he broke out of the ice very quickly and visibly seemed to take little to no damage. It could look impressive to someone that rather than run from Aokiji first chance he got, Doffy went to kill Smoker anyway which shows he did not think Aokiji would be able to defeat him in one shot. He has been shown doing very impressive things like being able to completely stop Diamond Jozu in his tracks, someone who went toe to toe with Aokiji for quite awhile. He has Conqueror's Haki, something typically seen most commonly from the strongest characters in the series. His resume is pretty insane. I think when I was at this point I thought Doflamingo was def weaker than Aokiji since he did not even bother fighting him and Law said Kaido would destroy him. It was still just an assumption though to say he was weaker when we saw this in PH. Even if Doflamingo WAS as strong or a little stronger than Aokiji I think he still would have left like this rather than fight him. Fighting someone close to your level who is actually a threat to you just to silence a few people is not a good gamble, better to just change plans.
I know with all the action it's overlooked, but I really, REALLY love the subtle choice by Oda in how he positioned everyone while Law was explaining the situation to the Straw Hats; him and Luffy sitting on the bench under the mast while everyone else was either sitting on the floor or standing, thus putting emphasis on the fact that both of them are captains of equal status in this alliance but without any character ever bringing attention to it. A version of "Show, don't tell" at it's finest. It's a story telling tool Oda uses quite often but that seems especially well utilised when it's about Law; the way he left his sword Kikoku next to Luffy as a sign of respect for the fallen after treating him after Marineford being an other famous example. :D
