Don't know of you noticed but the op changed a little since the last episode. Also in the new Mahito form he can't use idle transfiguration, it's like a almost only offensive fighting form where he can't use his technique. Another thing the whole late hit in the last episode was his divergent fist. It's an technique where he always hits twice but time delayed, you prob don't remember it from s1. And one last thing the Todo clap is a direct reference to Netero prayer scene in HxH
When mahito said "A time lag?!" That was yuji's using his og divergent fist from season 1, his cursed energy lagged behind his superhuman strength resulting in 2 impacts which threw off mahito. And yeah todo was saying that proclamation of the soul stuff just to fake out mahito basically
the reason why Yuji says " I'm You" to Mahito is because of what Mahito said to Yuji a few episodes back when Mahito says how he and Yuji are the same since they both act on instinct. Mahito's instinct is to kill humans while Yuji's instinct is to save humans. They are Yin and Yang. Yuji denies this a while back but this episode shows he's come to accept this and shows the development he has had since the fight.
jjk is so peak man. Jack do you think this is best new gen anime?
Fueled by pure delusion!!!
