I love watching Yuji fight, because he's a physical fighter, and I enjoy these kind of animated fights.
I will say since we know they are animating the entirety of the Shibuya Arc you will see the reasons and questions for this episode by the end of S2
insane how a show can continue to make interesting looking fights/episodes and still make them feel entirely different from one another
some details that can be missed in the first watch: sukuna commented on yuji being pathetic for losing to "such riffraff", basically saying choso is an inferior enemy. he closed his eyes, as if accepting that they were both dying (obvs sukuna would still live on via the other fingers). but, he then opened his eyes and did a "hm?", he was surprised. after that we saw choso and yuji's blood mixing on the floor. soooo sukuna has nothing to do with the memories that flooded choso's mind, and that's all I can say lol, as a manga reader i'm always scared to comment cause it's hard to explain things without spoiling but, these last few scenes will make sense in the future! probably on season 3 sooo, buckle up😭 haha, thanks for the reaction
I've seen a couple of reactors and a lot of you guys assume Sakuna would help/take over Yuji if he was about to die. I think its because we've been conditioned by other animes like Naruto, black clover, etc to believe the demon in the mc is ultimately an asset to help, but not Sakuna.
I think it's more because in the first season gojo makes it clear that if yuji is executed it will kill sukuna aswell so by that logic if sukuna knows he is about to die then it makes sense for him to take over to keep yuji alive right? Not gonna lie I thought he was gonna do the same at the end there haha.
The reason you think Choso's voice sounds familiar is because he has the same voice actor as Eustass Kid
