People throw way too much of a fit about Caulifla, Kale, and Caba unlocking SSJ 1-2. They were already very strong in their base forms before unlocking SSJ, far stronger than Goku or Vegeta were when they unlocked it. It makes sense that after learning HOW to do it they would unlock SSJ and SSJ2 rather quickly since they are prodigies and already have the prerequisite strength so to speak. Just like Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan, these are the strongest Saiyans in their universe - not some random saiyans. And Kale is just Broly, so there should be no complaints there. Are we gonna pretend that Goten and Trunks don't exist? They were Super Saiyans as small kids far younger than Caulifla and Kale. It would be one thing if they achieved Blue, but SSJ2 is really nothing that insane by this point. SSJ2 alone still makes them fodder compared to Blue. Lastly, the reality is without SSJ2 or Berserk these Saiyans are actual fodder in the ToP. I would like to see them actually compete and not get steamrolled, otherwise there is less hype to them even being Saiyans. They got scaled perfectly by being made a massive threat after fusing, but written so they were ultimately not even in the final running with U7 and Jiren.
I get it, but I think the reason it feels bad is that it could never carry the same emotional weight or feeling of struggle to earn it that the original few transformations had. honestly, it's been kinda a joke ever since the kids started doing it so idk why people are getting mad now. its just a default saiyan mode nowadays its not a legendary form anymore.
For Super Saiyan, there is no in-verse reason for Goku and Vegeta to struggle so much to transform into that form. If you can recall, in the Cell Saga Goku and even Gohan reached the point where super saiyan was so easy for them that they could perpetually be in the super saiyan state without net energy loss. Honestly, the struggle to transform is purely for the sake of the viewers and to make it look cool.
Next episode: One of the best looking ones in the series!
Jack did you know that Videl in sub(The angel from Champa's universe) has the same voice actor as Nico Robin??
Are we gonna see another 2 episodes video for 115-116👀
I really like these storylines with Goku learning Caulifla, which is Goku's counterpart from universe 6 and has a talent like himself and Vegeta's nature for trash talk. Those from 6 have a lot of base power, but the emotional transformation never happened because they lacked that trigger like we did, but they had the power to achieve it with the right fight. I don't know why, but I really like this whole Goku vs Caulifla & Kale mini series. Fighting Sayans who enjoy fighting and want to strengthen each other, and Goku is a mentor and knows how to do it
I always liked how Caulifla just flew through the power scaling. Reminded me of kid Goku straight up skipping 40 years of supposed Roshi trainning to learn Kamehameha and instead learning it after seeing it just once. It flipped the script on Goku being the genius.
I feel so validated watching Jack get pissed at super’s terrible power scaling.
He was not "pissed" lol, he is just understandably surprised because he has not seen DBZ anime and did not have as much time to get used to how common SSJ was after Goten and Trunks achieved it as kids. He experienced a highly condensed version with DBZ Kakarot. Super's scaling is fine.
They're around Gohan's age and they've been fighting in their base all their life not knowing about ssj they got strong enough in their base. They're doing about right kid Gohan had about the same power against Cell.
That doesn’t mean they faced the same challenges as Gohan even if they’re the same age.
WAIT, hoe come he doesn't show the actual episode on screen? He should be able to no?
pretty sure people have been having copyright issues, even on patreon
I feel robbed purchasing it without any content
I've been wondering why he's doing it like this too other people show it, but is not so bad just split screen.
Farewell Super Saiyan 3
Always felt this way about the U6 saiyans lol their fights are cool tho
All saiyans from U6 have much more S- Cells due to them being much more righteous and pure hearted then U7 Saiyans, (S-Cells are required for saiyans to transform to ssj, the more pure hearted you are the more S-cells you have which makes it much easier to transform then requiring a trigger) that's why Gohan Goten and Trunks were the youngest to turn ssj because them being half human made them even more pure hearted thus more S-cells thus easier to transform.
achieving the standard Super Saiyan transformation began to become "cheapened" around the Buu arc with how easy it was for Kid Trunks and Goten to achieve it
Lol, that's what I think too. Compared to that, this is nothing. Cailifla and Kale are more experienced, stronger, and older.
Kale has been using the standard Super Saiyan form since they fought the Pride Troopers, you can tell since her hair is almost completely yellow or golden
better not let these people in the comments hype you up. Enjoy your show😄
It's not an unpopular opinion that the Universe 6 saiyans achieve their power far too easily. Watching these Saiyans achieve powers that were arguably character-defining from decades past rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Also as an aside, the Super manga wasn't caught up to the anime at this point, and anyway tell vastly different yet similar stories so it's not like the anime had to adapt anything.
The REAL reason Goku doesn't go Super Saiyan 3 though is because that form is an absolute nightmare to animate. But a lot of people agree that it's an amazing form 😊
this episode has one of my favorite SSJ3 shots ever
