God, I love Frieza's addition to this arc. He's such a good villain, and his dynamic is amazing here. I think the fact that Frieza makes Frost look like trash just makes him even more iconic. Even his twin universe counterpart pales in comparison to what he has become, he is THE emperor of evil.
You should do 109 & 110 as a single reaction / you should watch them both together. They aired as a 1 hour special on TV

Goku learned instant transmission on his way back from Namek (after defeating Frieza the first time) he learned it after landing on Yardrat.
This episode always struck me as odd because Frost was portrayed as being so weak compared to Freeza that Freeza or any of the Sayans could have easily tossed him out in base form lol. It didn't feel like the trickery was even needed.
Ok, not BASE form lol. Base Goku was overpowered by Frost in the U6 Tourney. It would prob be SSJ2 that is enough to defeat Frost if I had to guess. If not SSJ2 then Blue one shots him obviously. Hit said he got stronger, so I am rating him a bit higher by saying SSJ2 rather than SSJ1 that he lost to in U6 Tournament before. And yeah It wasn't needed, Frieza is just sadistic and wanted to humiliate Frost while eliminating him. Objectively speaking though, it was a low risk way to get Frost out of the ring with minimal effort or energy. Frost is pretty weak, but he always pulls out underhanded methods to sometimes defeat people stronger than him. He is dangerous for that reason. It's hard to predict what he will do, so best to eliminate him quickly while his guard is down. He also just ran away whenever he was outmatched, and this strategy hit him with a surprise attack and he had no chance to run from.
