Definitely worth going back and watching the "Peoples Dreams, Never Die!" scene it seems like some type of foreshadowing that blackbeard has a weird body... or rather they
Blackbeard is literally stated to be built different
Akainu is the ultimate bait troll
you with the pen and paper lmfao
He was blue balled from the info.
Remember when Luffy met Blackbeard for the first time and said something to the effect of "this guy is more than one person"?
he and zoro were talking about his crew ffs
I think I can finally say this now, but Oda said that the War of One piece, will make Marinford seem "Cute" in comparison. lol as if this story can't get more tense and crazier then this, but it does.
There are many theories as to why Blackbeard is able to have 2 devil fruit powers ranging from him secretly having a mythical Zoan fruit that lets you hold other devil fruit powers to him literally being 3 smaller guys in a trench coat (Yes, that is an actual theory).
I mean, it has to be a devil fruit that lets him do that imo. Nothing else makes sense to defy a universal law of the world.
hearing Whitebeard shout the one piece is real gives me chills every damn time!

Exactly 100 episodes into this saga
Whitebeard will forever be the greatest father of all time. He was just a genuinely wonderful man.
Pretty sure shiryu thought they would have to disband because it's somewhat common knowledge that if you eat two df you die. So if Blackbeard died they would have to disband. Almost implying they didn't even know if it would work or not
Blackbeard’s living a dangerous live in true piracy fashion
One Piece is so great, the story is so good that Marineford is still arguably some people's favorite arc even with all the new stuff that has come out. I'm still riding the high from the latest episode that just came out but I still get chills listening to the narrator talk about all of Whitebeard's wounds.
Thanks for that double upload Friday, was a real treat
Whitebeard the definition of a gigachad! Btw thanks for double upload on friday Jack!
Today has been a huge day for onepiece so be particularly wary of spoilers for a few days. I can't believe how at this rate you'll be caught up at episode 1200-1250 or so with stuff not even in the manga so far
Its hard to beat Marineford for the best arc spot because it really just goes so damn hard
Blackbeard is a fantastic antagonist because he is the complete opposite of Luffy. And I love how it's been made clear right from the start; with him and Luffy in the bar; completely at odds on whether the food and drink were great or terrible.
Besides the food they got along pretty well though
