I don't know if you watch the intros Jack, but the intro through this arc is so good. Really sets the tone well while still being a great song. Highly recommend giving it a listen if you haven't, or maybe even including it as part of an episode

A thing to remember is despite Luffy having a decent bounty, his whole journey to this point hasn't even been a year. He has shot up from nowhere to having one of the highest bounties amongst newly establishing pirates within a few months.

Considering they are fighting outside, during daytime, Morias powers shouldn't have worked right? As soon as he took the shadows the soldiers should have burnt and their shadows would have left as well. or am i remembering his powers wrong?
anime error, i haven't read this arc but according to those who have read it, moria has a lot of spare shadows already in him
For your question about Dragon I see it like that : We have been told that the Revolutionary Army isn't in a fight with marines directly, their target is actually the World Gouvernment and the celestial dragons. The Navy is only a part of the World Gouvernment, like the different CPs thus Dragon wouldn't care really much plus he actually can't know that Luffy is in Marine Ford.
When were we told that? IMO Dragon just had no reason to risk his and his men's lives for Ace. If they got annihilated there the revolution would just die, it's safer to pick their battles more carefully. I think Jack was likely thinking that the revolutionaries would be there because if they completely defeated the Marines with Whitebeard that would essentially topple the World Government. Which is a logical line of thinking, but fighting the Marines when they are all gathered like that is just too risky and tons of revolutionaries would die.
