i have never watched something so satisfying. i want luffy to kill this man so bad. FUCK THE CONSEQUENCES
One of the most iconic moments in one piece, we all felt the satisfaction of that punch.
Unmentioned so far, but a noteworthy bit of the charlos punch in OP "Lore": Luffy doesn''t use his gumu-gumu-no-mi abilities ( His "NON NATURAL HUMAN ABILITIES" means his DF POWERS) when he stikes Charlos in this scene. To clarify, luffy didnt use any named attack "gum-gum pistol" whatever, nor was there a single bit of stretch animation use when he struck him. He struck charlos with absolutely nothing more than sheer strength as a Human. A HUMAN, something that CHARLOS and the CELESRAIL DRAGONS believe to be INFERIOR to them.... SHEER HUMAN STRENGTH. because if LUFFY took CHARLOS seriously for even 2 seconds, HE WOULD LEGIT BE DEAD.
Bro this moment had my heart racing when I first watched it, and it still makes my heart meat fast when I watch it again, as always keep up the good work jack
All my homies praying on charlos downfall
Joined the Patreon because this arc had arrived and this is the one I caught up on. Perfection. 👌I have to wait now but it's totally worth it.
A lot of people think Luffy is an idiot. I mean, I’ll admit that he isn’t especially smart, but I think this episode shows how that isn’t quite right. Luffy knows the consequences of his actions. He knows exactly how bad of an idea it is to attack a celestial dragon. He still does it because it’s what he wants to do, and because it is right. Luffy always does what he thinks is right, regardless off the potential fallout
Luffy refuses to live his life by others means
jeez i love one piece
well darn i catched up on his reactions now i need to wait
Yo, what you said is right. OP currency is directly related to yen, they are worth the same amount.
Most satisfying punch ever
Banger of a reaction to one of my favourite moments let the crazy train begin
I heard the animators were so hyped about this scene that it's animated like that because each of the animators drew one frame of the punch.
You got your wish Jack, you did get to see Charloss' face punched. Also this is easily one of the most satisfying punches I feel in One Piece and most media. I mean come one just everything culminating to that and the racism and human trafficking and the sheer rage in Luffy as he gives another middle finger to the government with that punch just sits so well in my heart. There is no way that they were going to be able to get Camie back without a fight.
That's the genius in the writing too. No one can question Luffy's decision, because the straw hats had already tried to outright buy her. It was defy the celestial dragons, or lose their friend forever.
GODA
Ah Charloss, you pos. So satisfying
Such HYPE episodes!! OH and you missed it, Garp said Raleigh probably sold himself after he lost in gambling so that's why he's being sold.
bro got sent back to the manga
i rewatch episode 396 multiple time with different reactors and its satisfying every single time. punched him so hard it turned back to manga LMAOO i love this anime so much
Let the chais begin 😏
I'm all caught up with the anime and this punch is still the most satisfying punch in One Piece for me. Maaaaan, it's soooooo good. The ANIMATION. I rewinded so often after seeing this the first time. Had to rewatch it so many times, it's just that good. Luffy not even using any of his attacks, just straight up punching that mf...SA-TIS-FYING. Love your reactions!
