I can't wait to see his reaction to logia fruit
I honestly can't wait for AFRO POWER
If you want to skip fillers: Skip episode 54. Watch just the first 8 minutes(starting from the opening credits) of ep 55. Skip 56-60. Watch ep 61 starting at the 13 minute mark.
All of the filler in one piece is pretty great, appropriatly placed and generally easy to consume given how short the arcs are, but the first filler arc is crap
Since you mentioned Naruto, a piece of cool info I learned recently is that Oda was originally going to name Sanji Naruto, which is why he has curly eyebrows like the spiral of a narutomaki fishcake. But because the Naruto manga was making its debut, he changed his name to Sanji to prevent any confusion :0
You uh.... remember Momoo is a fish, right?
Fun fact! These two episodes where on the covers of Manga chapters and called a cover story. Just a bit of extra story that usually explores past characters and their life after the run in with the crew
Loguetown arc ends at episode 53. 54-60 are filler and not very interesting but they have like one or two moments of canon information about the geography of the world so they're worth watching at least in your own time or like on stream maybe?
