I love when someone crosses luffys personal code and he just flips out going on a rampage
i believe that in the manga, zeff didn't cut off his leg to save sanji from drowning. instead he chopped it of and ate it to survive after giving sanji all the provisions.
Zackary said it, too, but another reason Sanji believes he owes so much to Zeff is that, instead of saving food for himself, Zeff ate his own leg so that Sanji had enough to live. The anime censored it for obvious reasons.
Man.... I need more of these a week!!! *.*
Just as means of comparing the episode to the manga Zeff didn't lose his leg to the ship anchor, it was a means of censoring that he consumed his own leg for food during those 85 days they were at sea
Fun fact: In the manga, Zeff actually ate his leg but the anime changed it.
THATS SO METAL
