Reading the manga honestly hits differently. The story is amazingly written. One more chapter and AOT will conclude. It’ll be hard for people that don’t read the manga to not get spoilers. I hope you don’t encounter this problem.
Im pretty sure they don’t actually mean December of 2022. The next anime winter season starts December 2021 and ends around March- early April of 2022. Most articles are saying this.
I'm a manga reader, and I'm not going to spoil anything, but I can say that this cliffhanger was one of multiple suspected by the manga reader community, and I can confidently say that this was the most tame one you couldv'e gotten. The story progresses in such a way that there was no way they could avoid an unbelievable cliffhanger. It was either that, or a really underwhelming cliffhanger. Be careful on twitter and such during the next few days considering the final chapter comes out soon.
Few more episodes and it could've been THAT cliffhanger x)
