I am like 6mths late to this, but this reaction was straight GOLD. This was the real moment I fell in love with Roy Mustang, whenever I hear the voice actor in another anime I scream COLONEL?! One of the best episodes is this one in my opinion, but the next one...gets me every time.
Also I want to comment that Alphonse is so mature. It's as if he adopted a knightly attitude after being in a suit of armor 24/7. I can imagine his sleepless nights just being filled up with introspection, meditation, and going over scenarios in his head. When you think about it, he's spent 80% more time awake than anyone else.
Eyy ok this is the one. Finally caught up. Betcha missed me. JK. The thing I remember most from this episode is just how badass Mustang was for SEARING HIS OWN WOUND CLOSED. Like, holy crap.
Seeing Hawkeye lost herself to her emotions thinking Roy is dead always breaks my heart
This is one of my favorite episodes. It just shows how much of a badass Mustang is.

Also to go with Mustang's display of flame alchemy, here's some trivia: In the 2003 version it is explained that he can do this because his gloves are specially made with flint woven into them, which is why it creates a spark when he snaps. He then uses alchemy to transmute the air to saturate it with oxygen and direct the fire. However in Brotherhood they don't explain this and imply there are some secrets to it which is why he is the only one known to use it
Could we get episode titles as part of the video or in the title of the video? Might make it a bit easier to find the episode rather than just by number.
I know Netflix has the weird sectioning off into parts but this really feels like the finale of “part 1” of the series to me

Alchemist in the series has perfected the art of creating circles and symmetry.
This episode hits different when you know Mustang and Lusts’ English VAs are married in real life 🤣

Mustang is literally 🔥. This episode deemed him as my favourite character in FMA.
Favorite part of this episode is Al's quick thinking when Mustang shows up to put a wall up to protect Hawkeye. Also, if you didn't believe by now, this episode proves how much of a badass Mustang is.
This is easily one of the Top 5 episodes in the series for me. We have the entire epic showdown between Lust & team Mustang, Lust's death, Barry's death :( and then that surprise appearance at the end. So much packed into one episode!
