FREEZE THE CITY?! Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Reaction Episode 1

Holy shit you sound like an infant in this video compared to now

DAT OPENING THO. Thanks for watching this series. One of the very best!

Boi said " its like a forbidden jutsu!!!" And oh boi- did I lose it 😂😂😂

never notice your forehead was so beautiful

I might have to watch episodes in advance, as it is new to me as well. I have heard of it, obviously but I've never watched any of the Fullmetal series. With Shippuden, I've seen all of it so it's cool to get another person's perspective on things. So I need to watch the episodes in advance to make my own assessment first. But this is great so far!

I think it is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in the UK...

Honestly I don't care if you watch it dub or sub fmab dub and sub both are great

So far i don't understand why everyone is saying that dub is better. Bradley's voice sucks.

Im going to let you get a little more ahead & start watching it once Im behind a little.

its weird to see your forehead without the headband

Watched it with two windows next to each other Netflix and you, worked perfectly the little screen is nice for catching up all in all very nice to watch together ^^

I had a little trouble splitsreening on my laptop but I think next time Ill do a phone/ laptop viewing. Also with hulu the ads messed my sync up a bit but maybe with netflix there wont be any ads. I love this idea and way of us watching a show together. Its my first time watching this show and watching along for the first time with you is a wonderful idea, looking forward to the rest of the series!

Whoever told him to watch it in dub i love you and the way you've got it set up i love that to im on mobile but I've minimised the video from AnimeLab so i can watch both at the same time

Best way for me to watch was patreon on my phone and Fullmetal on the tv/Netflix. I'm glad you went with the dub!

Guys he's just started the series... Let him figure stuff out, give it a couple episodes before trying to clear everything up for him. Haven't seen any bad spoilers yet but yall making me nervous! I know everyone is just excited and trying to be helpful, but Jack is a big boy, he can figure things out!

Oh boy, here we go! It may only be 64 episodes, but that's all this story needs to be hailed by veterans of the anime community as the greatest shonen anime of all time. Can't wait to see you experience this masterpiece :) Also, fun fact: Edward's VA is Vic Mignogna who voices Nagato, young Obito, and Broly from Dragon Ball Z!

I'm so HYPE for this! This is probably my 2nd favorite anime after Naruto!

I like the way we watch it just gotta figure out the sync part

so happy for you to be doing this series it is amazing. Be ready for a roller-coaster of emotions.

The series has starteddd \o/ I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we did. This show is also lots of fun to rewatch bcz it’s got connections that first time watchers may not notice as they may seem irrelevant without knowing the context behind, so it’ll be interesting to see what you’ll catch up on and it’ll be enjoyable rewatching the show along with you. Thanks for the reaction. Btw it may have been only for me but towards the end of the reaction the audio didn’t seem in sync with the video, but I don’t it’s just fyi

Loved it can't wait for you to see the rest took a while to synch the vids together but got it working

i Liked the way you did it. i used hbo max to watch with you. idk if it was only me but it was out of sync by about 10 secs from the stream, didnt know if you cut a section out. also sometimes after the credits it will continue a with scenes that are for the episode so be on the look out for those. not always. same for hxh when you get into that.

Eyyy my favorite series has started

ive actually never seen fmab before so im kinda glad you did it this way. ill be able to react with you lol

I’m surprised he didn’t make the Obito/Edward connection

The watch along was a lot of fun, can't wait for more! If your ever at Sea World in Orlando they play the intro song outside the sea lion stadium.

Fun fact: The first Harry Potter book was called "and the Philosopher's Stone" in the UK, but apparently it was changed in the US because they didnt think kids would be interested in it with that name

I loved watching along with you, since this is my first time watching the show it made it really nice to just sit back and watch without cuts.

Yay! We finally made it. FMAB is my second favorite anime next to Naruto. It’s so good, so much emotion. You’ll definitely love the characters ❤️

Also Jack, I'm going to do you a HUGE favor and tell you something (non spoiler) that took me forever to realize as I'm an idiot. King is his first name and Fuhrer is his title, for the longest time I thought his title was Fuhrer King and his name was just Bradley.

This format seems to work well as long as you tell when to push play. I'm juggling multiple browser tabs lol.

Glad to see this series starting. I personally consider this to be the best show ever made (not just anime, I mean any show). I've taken so many life lessons from this show's commentary of life in general and will be getting a tattoo of it in the near future. As for this setup, personally I think this is a way better way to do FMA as it's a show you can't really cut out much to fit fair use as it doesn't waste your time with a lot of unimportant fluff. Pretty much every scene serves the narrative in some way.

so jack he's (Edward elrich) a bigshot in the alchemist world because he doesn't need a transmutation circle to perform alchemy which is required by all alchemist you will learn down the road why he doesn't need a circle though.

Is there a reason why you are doing the exclusive series uncut? I just wish i had a pc for i could sync it up but since i only have a mobile phone its not really realistic

i think the first episode was filler, canon starts at episode 2

I personally don't mind this style. It's nice because we get your full uncut reaction to the series while still abiding fair use. FMAB is on Hulu, Netflix, Funimation, etc. so there are the means to watch it alongside.

def prefer the old cuts. U did a great job skipping the unimportant stuff and leaving all the good anyway. Plus I need 2 monitors now to watch this style :/

All I have to say Jack is this show has so many amazing lines, foreshadowing, and hands down unpredictability. You think Naruto had a twisty arc in the end with so many reveals and spilled secrets. Full metal will undoubtedly make you cry and terrified all at once. My favorite anime and Naruto comes second. Such a great story written in just 60 episodes. I hope you watch this show with an equal amount of eagerness and attention to detail like Naruto. You will not be disappointed.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is one of the best anime out there, hands down. I'm so excited for you to see this series, it's amazing!

I really enjoyed this style. You should do it for naruto too

Ima just watch these without pulling up the show 😈 ima have no idea what’s going on

Small window .. no audio I'm sad 💔

Oof i gotta binge this series quickly 😥
