Some explanation on Gold Experience Requiem. GER has the insane ability of automatically returning anything to zero, including fate and your will and actions, so Diavolo's attack and time skip were reset to zero, as if he never launched it, and Giorno's fate was undone. When GER kills Diavolo, it resets that death to 0, meaning he didn't die, but also died, leading to the death loop where he never "reaches the truth of his death". But yeah it's hilarious to me that Diavolo instead of megalomaniac Dio or mass murderer Kira got the death loop 😭😭😭

I know you've talked about your feelings on the ending of the part, as well as Giorno, but It'd be interesting to hear what you think of Diavolo as a villian in the end, especially compared to Dio, the Pillar Men, and Kira.
