Jack, I think other people told you but the reason that Kenpachi was blacking out was explained by Unohana - it's not a power. She said that she was repeatedly killing him, which implies that she was healing him back from death every time basically. That's why he blacked out, he was unconscious from her injuring him. This is why only Unohana could do this job, because only she is strong enough in swordplay to kill Zaraki so many times and break his limiters. Every time he was put near death by Unohana it released more limits on his strength until he was fully restored at the end.

I don't think you understood what Oh etsu meant when he said Ichigo has been fighting without an Asauchi. Soul reapers are given a blade by him but Ichigo just spawned in with one.

Kenpachi was blacking out because unohana was killing him and healing him over and over to get him to surpass himself . Very excited for the next couple episodes.

When Ichigo discovers about his father during the Aizen fight, he does say that he doesn't know how to ask questions without trampling on his father's feelings therefore he was going to wait until his father is ready to talk. This is a parallel to a moment early on in the series when he is mourning his mother's death but Rukia stops from prying further. That's why it might seem like it was brushed aside, but it's meant as development for Ichigo to wait until the time is right.

The blacking out was Kenpachi dying. When Unohana said she would kill him over and over again and heal him over and over again she was being literal. She literally killed him over and over again making him stronger each time until he surpassed her.

I know everyone is saying this but 11 and 12 should be together
